Instead of water try retesting with rose water and vitamin e oil. It will leave your hair so soft

Thank you for sharing this! Haha ain’t no judgement around here, do whatcha gotta do. Your process wasn’t wrong at all, I’m just curious if the cleansing could’ve been more effective if you added the vinegar and water first, put your hair in, and then started to sprinkle in baking soda (or baking soda first with hair, then acv)? There’s a woman on KZread named Jo Michelle who I think had her locs detoxed that way, and it makes sense. By the time you added the vinegar, most of the product was just salt and water. Maybe if your hair was in the reaction, more dirt could’ve been lifted more quickly? I don’t know, just a thought. Also might be difficult to do that as a one person job. The method you used was still super effective, the hair color and water speak for themselves! 💦
