Not just the brands and fashion (which I do indulge in purchasing often) but the books, the lifestyle, your garden and travels. I only wish this platform was available when I was your age. Its so refreshing women can be beautiful, confident, smart and transparent about life realities. On another note, I had my first hydrafacial today and it was fabulous! And, planning a trip to the UK with my sister in April and hope to see the Cotswolds and visit some of the wonderful places you have shared. Thank you, for sharing that memory of your grandpa. It was such a sweet moment and memory, I’m very grateful that you shared that! My Grandma, passed in 2020. But, some of my favorite memories of her are waking up really early in the morning with my sister, and running into Grammy’s room, sitting on the floor and watching her put on her make up. It was always so calm, and warm, and soft, and Grammy used to smile and let my sister and I pick out her jewelry for the day and spray on her perfume. Your memory, made me remember that and it was really good, so thank you! ❤️

The Fairmont is by far my favorite resorts to stay at! You should try Fairmont Gold. Continental breakfast, afternoon tea, private check-in. It is the only way we stay at Fairmont. You should try the Hamilton Princess Fairmont in Bermuda. We got married there 18 years ago and still go back every 2-3 yrs. since. The food, service and attention to detail is what makes Fairmont a luxury experience!

I must say in in Vancouver Canada we wear sunscreen and sunglasses everyday for every kind of weather except rain days of course Lydia I love the new lip liner so natural but a hint of pink. hi Lydia. We have the same issue with a very hot patio that the dogs have to cross to go out back to wee. I wound up getting some waterproof picnic blankets and I put them down in a path from the inside of the house to the grass. It took three blankets but at least they can get in and out w/o me having to carry them. (it does not look pretty AT ALL...but during these days...who cares.

You need trellises ( metal, to follow your plan) against the wall of the lower level courtyard either side of your fountain with greenery climbing up the wall to give a bit of atmosphere to the space ...an aged mirror is a good idea at the opposite end to the stairs with the console, something on the floor? The ferns in the willow baskets (Neptune) would also warm up the space ......beneath the console and smaller ones near the fountain?

Just an idea for your courtyard. Maybe you can install a motorised pergola roof. It’s pricey but so worth it. That way you don’t have to worry about the outdoor setting getting damaged and you can still use the space in any weather. Love your videos xx

Just an idea.. you could put one of those extendable awnings on your patio to keep the heat out of your kitchen, it does help and maybe install a split system AC in your kitchen too cuz if your kitchen is too hot, food gets spoilt easily too. Oh my goodness....Lydia.....I live in Palm Springs California....its currently 100°Fahrenheit...at 3pm it'll be 116°. At night it's 100°. I myself am a fur mommy my littles are perfectly fine. Now during the day my dogs are indoors until 6pm then they go outdoors. Bcs they beg me to let them out.

@@MrVikingsandra The Country is beautiful, I live in BC and you can literally be walking on the beach in the morning and skiing in the afternoon. Stunning hiking if you are outdoorsy but I won't lie, like what is going on around the world our leader is a Globalist and Canada has taken a hard turn into Socialism. Oh, and our medical system is garbage. There are pluses and minuses. I'd move back to Australia in a heartbeat tho.

Thank you Lydia. Always a pleasure popping in to see what you are up to. Can't you get whole house AC? I live just west of Boston and for most of my childhood we never needed AC. Now we need it every Summer, what a change in just my life time. What a shame. I once had to have my elderly mother stay with us during a heat wave because her older home did not have AC. I bought her a portable AC unit for her TV room, so she could at least be comfortable during a heat wave, she could bring it into her bedroom at night. If you are looking for a fun movie try Moonstruck with Cher and Nicholas Cage. It is very funny and I know you are part Italian, as I am. You might enjoy it. What a lovely walk! What is the charity though? I walked El Camino de Santiago de Compostela, which is a 775 km walk across the north of Spain, (average 25kms/day - sometimes shorter, sometimes longer) one of the tricks we did for blister prevention was to slather Vaseline all over our feet and wear two pairs of socks so that there’s no friction. Works like a charm!
