I would be curious as to how one of my 9cm chargers would do. I make them for holsets and s300’s. I mainly specialize in 89-07 cummins motors but it could be a fun test. On a 5.9L motor spool up is a hair slower then a k27 and far ahead of the t3 62/68/.70 s300.
Thast turbo...with exhaust casing modified it s very good and beleive fast spool....also borgworner are more quality than other brands..

I have patrol y60 with rd28t and also have an om606. The Nissan engine runs sweet and it's under 60k miles. But I need the torque and economy of a bigger engine for touring and light off road. The 4.2 Nissan engines are next to impossible to find in Europe and already having the om606 looks like a good alternative. Now ,the question is: How low in the revs can an om606 can make some usable torque and what turbo setup would achieve such results. I am not chasing land record speeds, just simple laid back cruising and occasional off road escapes. Any insight welcome
