Apparently the guys filming and the guys going to the river were there as a group. They’re a group of Tesco managers on some training thing and whatever they were doing involved two of them walking down to the river. They never realised the steps would be so slippery and he never intended to go in. The full clip shows him walking back to the guys filming soaking wet and embarrassed and them cackling that he needed to go back to the office like that.
