I went to Melbourne last week and I went to the Lions, the Cats, and the Magpies games, and as a person who's been going to the Lions games for years now, I was disappointed to find out there is no kick-to-kick after the game. I thought every ground did it but I guess only the Gold Coast Suns and the Brisbane Lions do it. I think Marvel Stadium should always have kick-to-kick because it is never raining because of the roof, so for every game, you should be able to do it.

I think there are issues with crowd numbers. Like where I’ve grown up in Canberra and Tassie, they’ve always had kick2kick after the game. But only about a quarter of the games in Melbourne that I’ve attended have had it and they’ve been relatively small crowds so I assume that they don’t want too many people on the field

@@NorthKangaroo Yeah I guess that makes sense, I understand why they wouldn't want kick2kick on the MCG though, because they'd wanna preserve the ground

With Marvel, you have the smaller clubs playing there but when Essendon plays there the atmosphere is really good and quite loud and almost 40k+ can go against interstate teams.

The one time I went to the SCG was for a Sydney Sixers game in the BBL last summer, and we were fortunate enough to get a seat in the Bradman Stand which is reserved for members, so the view was pretty good. However, 100% agree with the food, ridiculous prices and not great quality either for things like a meat pie or hot dog. W vid :)

Adelaide Oval is one of the best, the food is a little bit pricey, the seats are really good though, you can see the full ground and the atmosphere of the ground is awesome, but I am from South Australia and I have only been to the MCG and Marvel other than that so I don’t really know a lot..

It all depends on how the teams are going for the atmosphere. I come remember when I started go to VFL as in 1980s it was all the time after 2nd horn

I will say utas stadium is one of the best grounds I’ve been to im a lions supporter but my dad is hawks so I’ve been a few times probably 6 times I just love that it’s food vans u can see the ground from all angles aswell never had a bad experience there so far

Giants stadium is right in the middle of nrl territory so it doesn’t surprise me that no one goes there cause no one cares about afl in western Sydney. In the NRL this week they are playing at marvel and the Gabba cause of the Fifa women’s World Cup

Let me tell you about my history of Norwood Oval. I'm a port adelaide magpies supporter. It's a nightmare because every year the magpies always lose there and EVEN THIS YEAR WHEN NORWOOD ARE SHIET, THE MAGPIES STILL LOSE THERE AND ITS A BLOODY NIGHTMARE EVEY YEAR I GO THERE!!! but it has good history so can't complain. Also it's the worse sanfl stadium to park

Optus is S tier purely for how many easily accessible toilets there are. I can literally go have a piss after a goal and be back in my seat and maybe miss 45 seconds of gameplay.

What kind of sport is AFL?

Nothing beats an MCG final but for regular season my favourite is Docklands. The cats have a 70% win record and play far better there than the MCG. They used to have 2 or 3 home games there but moved them all to the MCG. That said we also have our own home ground, if you´ve ever heard of it... just saying. Cats v Bombers or Blues were the best atmosphere there. The cats v saints game in 2009 was the best atmosphere and game ever (even in a loss). It has the best view and comfort by far. The roof is heaven on a windy July night. Also for geelong travellers and anyone north or west of the city it is far easier to go straight to Southern Cross from any line into The City Loop, and not have to piss about changing to go one stop to Richmond or Jolimont. Sidenote: I went to SCG as well and I agree, it is easily the worst of the major stadiums.

At least cardy agrees with me that TIO stadium is very cool.

I’m a south Australian so I’m a bit biased but I think Adelaide oval is the greatest stadium in the country Edit: the Adelaide hills stadium is a local footy ground that my barker Roos play at
