Enjoy this precious time with your family. Time flies in a blink of an eye. I have no one to cook for. But love watching you. Reminds me when my family was still young.

I make scalloped potatoes when we have baked ham. ( Mom used to do it that way) All I do is layer the potatoes, sprinkle with flour, salt and pepper, onion and butter. I layer these until the roaster is full, then I fill up with whipping cream and stick in the oven. This way saves a lot of extra steps and dishes and they are delicious. You know you need to look at the KZread channels that do one pot meals or crockpot meals make it easier and the kids will still get a good tummy full. There’s so much you can do with the crockpot today. I had some day old donuts and I turned them into Bread pudding with a crockpot a can of cherries. The pudding mix the bread pudding mix, and they turned out great I have enough for breakfast tomorrow…

You have turn a construction zone into a warm and cozy home. You are also a fantastic meal chef. I am 72 yrs old, single female and the only thing l cook is the occasional egg for breakfast or supper. Merry Christmas to you and family and fur babies. Don't feel guilty that the boys clean up after you work hard to cook and they ate hardy. To me, it doesn't hurt to have help once in a while after a great meal. I'd be glad to clean after that good meal. Chicken and potatoes is my favorite.

My daughter trained her 2 dogs with a collar that with a remote would make a beep sound. No, it’s not a shock collar ( those shock collars should be outlawed) She rented a house that didn’t have a fence, when she let them outside & if they went behind trees where she couldn’t see them she would hit the button on the remote & both would head back home. She also tied a string with a bell to the door nob, when they wanted to go outside Bentley would take his paw & hit the bell. I loved watching him do that. It’s worth looking into. I know this Spring you’ll be putting a fence in, I’m just saying the collar worked well for my Daughter.

Arthritis is such a "rip-off"....I've had both hips replaced before I turned 60(due to arthritis)....but having it in your foot???....what can the medical profession really do, except surgery or shots???....same with the hands....too many tiny bones....hope you get relief how ever it comes....you really are a hard working woman regardless of the arthritis trying to slow you down!!!....

Food looked very delicious. Glad I had eaten. We had big pan of stewed potatoes, roast and carrots in gravy and yummy brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts were my favorite thing. Cooked in butter s&p and topped with triple shredded cheddar cheese. Sorry your foot is hurting. I am 74 and struggle with disc disease. It certainly slows me down. I like those nut crackers. Look forward to seeing the tree. 😊

Hey Val! The chicken really looked good, I add a can of corn to my scalloped potatoes! Today is Sunday and my tree still ain’t up, hopefully tomorrow! I have Arthritis in my spine which is pure heck, affects my hips and legs and especially my knees, oh boy, there are days I can’t do anything! Those nutcrackers are big but very nice! Thanks Val! 🤗🥰

Your videos starve me to death !! 😂😂😂 I’ll share one the easiest recipes, filling and kids usually love it !! It is called Brownie Stew and when I was in Girl Scouts as a Brownie 60 years ago … this was the go to recipe to Feed us at day camp !! I crave it sometimes and still make it often !! You will need to brown a 1 lb package of ground beef ( I use chuck ) cut up an onion and cook with the meat. Once the meat is browned add 1 can of tomato soup and two cans of vegetable ABC soup .. and then add a can maybe can half of water and heat through !! It’s done !! Serve always over hamburger buns with carrots sticks !! Delicious, filling and so fast and easy !! ❤ you. An easily double the recipe !!

Hello! watching you in the evening after work. I bought myself a long handled dust pan and I LOVE it makes all the difference in the world for me. I love your new work station table in the kitchen, looks great! I have been giving my so a Nutcracker every year since he was about 9 years old. I have dated them and should catalog them! Some years it might be 2! There are so many that his wife is not ready to take them all home since they are in an apartment! So I display them here at home.

Dear Valerie, please look after your feet. I have reflexology on mine most weeks. They are especially painful if I wear inappropriate shoes or walk on tiled floors. I wear house shoes and padded socks at home and comfy boots with socks for walking the dog. I use arnica cream and foot lotions. Exercise in water helps too where I do stretching and aqua exercises. Dinner Looks absolutely Delicious!

take those chicken breast cutlets and pound thin with meat hammer. or use turkey cutlets or cube steak cutlets. ditto with meat hammer. make stuffing. ( I use stove top cornbread) put a spoonful of stuffing in middle of cutlet and roll up. tuck in ends. tie with baking twine or anchor with toothpicks, brown on stovetop in butter or oil. transfer to oven safe casserole pan and cover with gravy. cover casserole with tin foil and bake 350/375 degrees for an hour. remove twine or toothpicks before serving. the extra gravy is good over mashed potatoes
