I have my go-tos, but these are ones I find myself using more in the fall!

I love the Tombow Irojiten for autumn pictures. There is a box (chapter) that has great autumnal colors. And yes, all those lovely Derwent pencils! Perfect for fall coloring. I just ordered the Distress watercolor pencils, I love the distress colors and I’m anxious to give them a try, even if the are not marketed for coloring books.

I have all of the same sets and are my fall go-to’s as well! I’m in Alabama and today is the first day of true fall weather. Cerulean blue skies, cool breeze, brilliant sunshine, and 75 degrees.

Yeah, it would be AWESOME if they ever expanded this set.

I love the Graphitint pencils. The more color you put down, the more vibrant they become when activated with water. I also have their Graphitint paint pan set (12).I really want to get the Derwent drawing set. Those would marry perfectly with the Graphitint. I've also been eyeing the Albrecht Durer watercolor pencils. I'm waiting for a good deal on those.

Yes, I love how you can layer and build up the color of Graphitint. Such an amazing product!

What I reach for mostly whether it's Autumn or any other season, are my Polychromos, Lightfast, Drawing, Holbein and Pablo's. I recently finished a picture of Penny Wise with my Pablo's, but I have a pencil case handy (with a combination of the other brands listed) in it for my current WIPs.

For sure! Sometimes it's fun to use those sets that just inspire us.

Yep my Derwent Graphitint, Drawing and Lightfast all come out at this time and I find myself experimenting with blending so I can tone things with gray and brown-lots of fun in the Autumn, wish is was a longer season ;)

I love my dirt my pencils like fast are my very favorite in the world I recently got the indra macaron and morandi sets and I love them. The Morandi set has a lot of autumnal colors. That contains beautiful skin tones the Morandi colors as well as some vintage colors that are just wonderful. Castle arts soft touch set and the Cezanne set.

Beautiful fall colors I do that the derwent water color pencils and the inktense pencils but I just color with all my every day pencils it seems I think I need to explore more ! Thank you for sharing ❤️

I have the Derwent Watercolor too! They are nice. I am missing quite a few colors so I need to buy the bigger set.

Just beautiful in autumn 🍂 hear in Australia im in tropical North Queensland we don’t get much autumn weather but I use my derwent graphitint as well as my intense light fast I’m slowly building up my collection

Awe I guess you don't get the sweater weather, but hey, you can still enjoy the fall season all the same! 🍂

I like the Staedtler brand but they don't give any lightfast information on their tinted graphite. But I know it wouldn't matter in a sketch book or color book to a point. However some colors do fade over time even in a sketchbook. I do love the look of graphite so I can use watercolor over graphite. It has that same awesome affect. Thanks for sharing your fall colors! I love them all.

I think with any watersoluble medium, it can be hard to determine lightfast because you also have to take into account how much water is used to activate it. But, I'm sure the tinted graphites all will have some fading.

I just got the Derwent Chromaflow and like you say about the drawing pencils, they're luscious and creamy, soft and gorgeous! I could only afford the 24 set, but they do sell them as open stock. I think the reason for the limited palette in the drawing pencils, which are meant for landscapes, is that it reflects the surrounding views if Keswick, where the Derwent pencils are made. Only my guess, but that limited palette is still gorgeous!

Yes, they do have the Drawing open stock, but still only 24 colors :(

I agree with you about the graphatint pencils I love the colors but until you had that video on using the water and then coloring back over that I had not done that and so I am learning to do that so thank you so much for that! I love these pencils! So thanks for showing this!

Derwent graphtint my favorite and derwent drawing pencils....stadler graphite tint also i like i think its the weight and sizeof oencil just feels good in my hand...oh the fabrell castell look lovely adding to my lottery art win bucket list ohhhh i needed the 1200 set.....lol no its just a lovely want tho..i follow along your list also my loves of colors for autum coloring.....mikelle art mom👩‍🎨✍🎨

I love my Stadlers but there’s just not enough of them. Because they have such a good colour range, my other ones can get a little bit muddy but not these those are amazing

I am using my Lightfast right now!! BUT watching your video has me realizing I use my Derwent sets a LOT more for Autumn. In fact, I want to use my Inktense for an upcoming page. LOL

I want those drawing pencils just for the color! I’d just ordered the artists ones 120 since I’d heard they are discontinuing the 129 set. I have some singles of the lightfast. I maybe should have completed that set but later. Definitely looking forward to trying some of these fall ones you mention. Great video.

Has anyone ever ordered from Colorful Impressions? I ordered three Spectrum Noir colored pencil tins from them back in March 2022. They received my payment but have never sent my order. I have sent them three messages and they have apologized for missing my order and say that they will send out right away…but nothing. Anybody out there have any experiences with this company?

The Derwent drawing set they did have a 72 set I have just sent them an email to ask if they are going to sell them again still awaiting word back from them 😉x

When was this? I've never seen the drawing pencils in a 72 set. They have a "drawing set," but that has their drawing pencils featured here, and other items for sketching.

Contact them the more people who ask the better the chances they will do it 😉 I also was saddened to hear they didn't have a full 72 set☹️ I will keep begging them 😁 Hope this helps Xxx

I now await after telling them that many artist etc would love for this to happen if its possible in the future they would do this? I pray the reply will be good, I think it would be silly of them to ignore this since they have a good product that would sell......I will keep you updated Kori xx

Staedtler pronounced as SHtaedler. I used to say S too but living in Germany for 6 years changed my pronunciation 😁 Nice pencils sets. Lovely colours! 🥰 I can not get my hands on DERWENT pencils. Not sure why. So many nice reviews but there is something always stops me from. purchasing them. They will be in my xmas wishlist. Maybe Santa brings them this year 😁
