Nathan, I thought this was a great video. Some of us don't have a studio but do have a small collection of modifiers. For us, this was a useful video, for sure. With the optical snoot shots it looks like you have a lot of room ambient fill - very clear from the pullback shot at 5:56. So results are going to vary a lot depending on ones ambient room lighting. If you have a dark studio you may need an extra fill light to get similar looks.

Great video and awesome photos Nathan! I got rid of my optical snoot (similar to the one you are using) and got a Nanlite Forza 60 (there's the option of the Nanlite FS60B for those on a budget) and their Projection Unit for the Forza 60 or 150 (the ones with the fm mount) The optical Snoot eats too much power and it was a bit of a hassle, the WYSIWYG of the led light and no loss of power output (in fact it magnifies it)

That's solid. I have a Forza 500 and a bunch of the pavotubes. Great lighting, I will have a look at the Forza 60 as well.

@@NathanElson That's great Nathan! If I may recommend check the Forza 60 and the 150 too, the only downside is that the fm to bowens adapter can't hold the weight of softboxes larger than 90cms, but I'm having too much fun with their projection unit and their fresnel for the Forza 60/150!
