how is the speed compared to the LGG venus? from 1-10

I saw some users saying the normal version has quite a strong smell to it, did you experience that?

This is more of a speed pad. Though you can use this in games like CSGO generally slower control pads are more popular.

is it okay if i put.. maybe like half of my monitor on top of it? 😅 (no, nevermind.. i barely knew that i can swivel my monitor) 😂

Been using the Energon since it first came out and I have a video on my channel :)

hey liam could you test the superlight 2 on this pad? my sensor just doesnt track at all and im at a loss. ive tried changing lod , turned on game surface mode on and off to no avail.

How similar is speed would you compare the Energon Pro to? for example, is it closer to the speed of a Artisan Zero, Hayate Otsu, or a Hien for example?

In my opinion, It's very similar to the Raiden. This definitely has a little more control but still has the speed that I personally enjoy. Feels very similar as well to the touch

what would be an alternatives that is less affected by humidity

Tough to say because this summer has been so hot and humid for me that everything seems like it is being impacted in some way.

Just used this pad today on Valorant with slow stock PTFE skates on a GPX. Would be top tier pad if maybe it was xSoft like Artisan so I could use the foam to add instant stopping power especially with my monkey grip. You can't push in the pad to get extra control. But surface itself is on the speed side, but my stock worn-out PTFE skates added that little extra static friction/dynamic friction which makes it controllable for me.

This pad might be too fast for Valorant but have you tried softer skates or control skates?

Any tips to flatten the mouse pad? My Energon pro is lifting up on both middle edges. like it wants to stay in the air instead of lying flat.

Tightly roll it the opposite direction i guess, thats the only way i know. You do need to do it a few times and keep in rolled for awhile

No DON'T roll. You are always better off placing heavy books on the pad for a few days. If that fails, a light stretch corner to corner can alleviate some of the lifting. But every pad material is different and most of them never never never recommend rolling.

The jet is a lot faster with less static/dynamic friction.

The Energon is faster than the Zero. I prefer the Energon for Apex Legends personally. I use control pads for Valorant
