Hi NattyAnn I'm using Taliah WAAJID Green Apple & Aloe Miracle Hold Gel & Karibbean Kinks Gel. I like them both After washing I retwists with these products and it's not flaky or sticky. My retwists last a while. I don't retwist all the time I wash my hair maybe that's why it's down to my butt 👍🏽😊

Nice, I’ve never trued that product line but I have heard good things about it! I don’t retwist every time I wash either, Love those wash days lol

Joie is my FAV‼️ No build up, and it grows my hair. I don't even see myself switching up. 😭😭😭 I'm literally waiting for another one to come from Amazon tomorrow so i can do a retwist. 😂🤣😅

LOC N is my fav nowadays

I started my loc journey I'm March I'm still in the stater loc phase . I started using foam which I learned you can use on you locs. It's not holding how I want to. Thus is very helpful. You locs are gorgeous BTW ❤

I’ve tried Joie and Loc N and Joie definitely holds better for me. I love/hate it. It get my locs looking nice and give me roots time to loc up but I am allergic to it. My ears and my neck are itchy until I wash it out but that jar wasn’t cheap either

Ooh girl, don’t use it anymore if its giving you a reaction. See if you can return it. Loc N makes my husbands scalp itchy. It’s so hard to find the right products but don’t give up.

Joie Naturals us the only loc gel that I use.

Is #3 and #2 less sticky. I hated that feeling from Loc N. My scalp wa so sticky/itchy. Im looking for sometbjng less sticky.

Honestly they have similar consistencies. I would say #1 is the least “sticky” of them all.

Great video. Does it flake and hows the hold? The problem is have with most gel is they flake heavily after a couple of days. The only product that i use for my retwist that doesn’t flake and no build up is Jamaican mango & lime locking gel

These gels don’t flake for me but I know not everybody scalp can take any gel. Definitely stick with what’s working for you.

Try Taliah Waajid Miracle Hold Gel. It has the same consistency as the others. I’ve used the one you mentioned also. Except LocN was a bit too thick for me. But I still liked it.

Although the gels give you a nice finish look, I'm afraid to use them. I'm coming across too many bad reviews of build up do to using gels, creams, and waxes. It doesn't show up over night but it will "over time".

I understand the feeling although i still use locking gel every now and then most of the time i use water, oil, conditioner in a spray bottle it and brush them every now and then as well leave my hair soft light and full of life

the price is an absolute no for me.
