This was cool because these were the majority of the wrestlers I had. Hulk, Big John Studd, Andre with long hair, and then The Junkyard Dog and Mr. Wonderful. When I think back, these were just toys you had to have. The size of them, the ability to now have and play with the Superstars of Wrestling you saw on TV. One thing I always wanted was the ring. Going over to my friends house who had friends over, they brought over the ring. I feel in love with it. I can still remember telling them I had some wrestlers at home and them telling me to go get them, running to my house in excitement and the thought of all our wrestlers fighting it out. Oh yes, my friends, it was magical times.🙂

The Iron Sheik was my first LJN figure . the first time I saw an LJN wrestler was in 1986, when I was 11, my buddy Shawn who lived across the street came home one day with his mom, he was holding a giant TOYS R US bag , i could see them from my second story bedroom window, I opened the window , and I screamed " WHAT DID YOU GET " !!! he pulled two packaged LJN figures from the bag, Big John Studd in his left hand , and Hulk Hogan in his right hand and screamed back, " I GOT WRESTLERS" !!! "COME OVER " !!! so I did.. and it was game on from that point forward , I was hooked.. I was all in.. I asked him if there were any more still at the store when he left , he said yes.. I stayed for about 20 min, then ran out of there , he said hey where are you going? , I said I have to trick my mom into buying me some of those , I will be back.. so I went home , and after about 15 minutes of crying that I need two of my own figures , we went to TOYS R US first , they had nothing , not a single one.. so plan B was to go to KB TOYS in the mall , I expected a wall of figures to be there , I thought i could get anyone I wanted to.. they had one left ... The Iron Sheik ... I snapped it up , it was mine.. nobody was going to get that figure out of my hands.. and to this day I would have to say that The Iron Sheik is my favorite WWF LJN fig....

My dad had it and still have it and he got it when he was 0 in 1984

Big John Studd is my all-time favorite wrestler, but I hated how they had his LJN figure crouched down. He always stood tall. They should of got the heights more accurate.

I was able to get The Iron Sheik to sign my original LJN figure that I played with when I was a kid .. I met him in 2010 at a Wonder Con . I have had that thing for 36 years now.. crazy.. if I had a top list it would be Iron Sheik , Andre ( short hair ) Randy Savage , King Kong Bundy ( I remember getting Bundy at a drug store , and was amazed how big and solid he was ).. on the worst LJN WWF list would be Dynamite Kid, Bobby Heenan , Hercules , and The Ultimate Warrior ... ( it has nothing to do with their talent/ character , its just those sculpts are horrible ) ...

Christmas 84' Hogan and Andre were my first two I got, and I consider them both in the top 3 greatest ljns ever made, macho man makes that list. And I'm gonna predict macho man wins this tournament.

I had Based on your matchups and bracketing Andre long hair Hogan Sheik Valentine Sheik and Valentine being the easy choices These matchups could shake up my own favs list. Interesting way to do it …

Greg valentine had the best ljn figure. Never cared for the hammer in real life but his ljn got a massive push in my federation. I could never use my jimmy snuka because it drove me nuts that he wasnt in wwe.

Something I couldn't help but notice on the top shelf is that an 8 inch replica of the Ric Flair galoob? Looks great

All of this time I thought the pet rat ONLY chewed off the hand of one of the British Bulldogs. Mind blown. Congrats to Snuka. You're right, his figure isn't roided enough, never thought about that before. Hogan and Studd are awesome figures. Great poses. Also, my mind is blown again that you didn't team Bundy with Studd much lol. I loved the elbow drop with that Hammer figure, absolutely perfect. Great video!

I know koko B Ware’s son. He lives a city over from me and coaches high school football. He says his dad sits around and drinks coffee now, when I asked him what his dad is doing now. lol

Snuka was my first fig.. never had Afro Andre ..Iron Valentine Studd gots tons of play

I'd choose snuka just for memories. My friend tipped me off around 1986 that he was at a Walgreens across town. I had most of the figures by 86 but never saw Snuka. I had my mom drive me 30 min to the store and sure enough it was still on the rack all alone. Still a lasting memory and may have been the last figure bought in my collection because I got into baseball card collecting and Nintendo in 87 while wrestling took a backseat.

BOTH ANDRES GOT JOBBED OUT?!?

I see they made Ric Flair LJN style, are they going to do the smaller galoobs for WCW?

Gotta agree this is a great video.

See I would keep Andre alive in the tournament and then switch them out with the 86 Andre the giant with the short-haired and I think that one could go a long way as well

Brother you need to finish the P.A.C.W. tournament I believe you still need to finish the second round third round semi final and finals please if you could finish that tournament one day I would really appreciate it. Thanks Brother

Ready for round 1! Let’s see what you got, I don’t know who’s my favorite. Snuka and Iron was my first two figures, then studd and Andre, then Hogan. Hogan had to be my favorite of the first lot.
