The two tap function on the Apple Pencil works not only on the flat side but all the surface. It really helps when your drawing for a long time or taking notes. Love your videos

I just bought the Apple Pencil the newest one a couple days ago and so far I can say that it’s amazing with the iPad Pro and it charges very fast

Thank you for all these suggestions. Highly appreciated. The only thing I would say you might want to rethink is the iPad case (the first one that you showed us)--I bought one when I bought my iPad. Not only was it incredibly expensive but it wore out/stopped working partially within 5 months of purchase and stopped working completely within 8 months. That seems a shame for something that costs that much. Apple was not helpful when I brought them the issue. Also, I did not find that it protected the iPad almost at all. Still on the look out for a new case/keyboard.

This is a super helpful video! I'm not an apple person. But as far as drawing tablets go, iPad is my best option. I'm trying to get a priority list on accessories made for digital drawing/art and photo editing. I enjoy that you're including other companies for accessories. Also the pencil button - my current non-screen tab has a button on its stylus, too! And I HATE IT. My left handed pencil holding does not get along with buttons. Tl;dr thank you for your artist viewpoint budget conscious video!

I'm right handed and I also can't get the button on my Wacom pen to work properly. Either I'm randomly holding the pen in a way that I can't reach it when I need it or I accidentally click on it when I don't want to.

I use Selvy PenScript app, instead of using keyboard. It help a lot cus you can write and take notes or in general. For the drawing case may not be the best for others, but I use Zugucase. Now my question is would that rubber pen case affect the magnetic to connect with iPad?

My favourite stylus is the wacom classic pen. The default pen that comes with the cintiq gave me serious joint pain in my fingers and wrists and the slimmer more ergonomic design of the classic pen alleviated all those issues. However I am annoyed it cost me $100+ for it, but then again I don't ever have to charge it, which is something new I have to keep in my for my 2nd gen apple pencil.

I have the first Gen iPad Pro (and it’s the smaller one too :/) and wish I would’ve waited. Not having the huge bezels and the wonky first Gen Apple Pencil (keeping up with it since it’s not magnetized and charging it out of the iPad charging port) makes it difficult to use. I enjoy working with it anyways but I’ve been looking to upgrade for those two reasons. I’ve had it since 2017 when I was getting my graphic design degree so I feel like I’ve had it long enough to justify upgrading it

I use a Parblo adjustable stand at home. I also use the same screen protector but I still find my hand grabs on the screen so I have a glove but it only covers the pinky and its open at the finger tip. Much more comfortable. I am looking for a thin portable solution for typing & drawing on the go.

@@BravetheWoods Thank you for your insightful videos! As I'm looking to upgrade (my beautiful, old 2008 computer that struggles to run CS6) to a new platform, I'm also looking at longevity and versatility. How do you navigate working with both Photoshop on the Cintiq and Procreate on the ipad- are you able to work on the same project and switch between the software/hardware? Thank you for your time and attention. :)

Andrés Colón actually, the screen protector will also get dull after many use (mine got dull after about 3 months) and yes my apple pencil tip was ruined even though i still can use it. And there is a big difference between ipad pro’s screen and regular ipad’s screen (i compare my ipad pro 2018 with ipad 6): having paperlike on the ipad pro may feel more comfortable than having it on ipad 6 because ipad pro has “glass” screen while ipad 6 screen is “plasticky”.

Yeah I went with the magic keyboard. The cheaper keyboards looked like way too much work and cheaper quality. The iPad Pro 12.9 is over a thousand dollars, if a few hundred on accessories is gonna break you then you couldn't afford to begin with..
