Great information. Bass does get used to seeing baits and shy away from them. Sometimes you can just change colors to make the difference. I've done that back in the 80's when fishing local bass club tournaments. Great video 📹 👍 Thank you

I caught 2 Decent chunk Smallies with a Yumbrella 3 Wire Umbrella mini rig paired with 2.8” Keitech Fat Swing Impact copperfield swimbait while using 3/32oz weedless Ned heads that I made myself, fished on the US side of WA. I had this rig in my tackle bag for 8-9 years and I couldn’t use it because it was completely illegal in British Columbia Canada, but since one of my local lakes shared the same lake with the US, I was able to try it for the first time EVER last weekend (10/15/22). I now am fishing for more ideas an tricks/tips to help me be better with this new found technique.

What's your thoughts on blades vs no blades? Does water color determine it? Or do you throw blades a lot in super clear water?

How do you manage your dropshot in the rod box? Mine always wants to tangle. Also what methods do you use when you don't want to catch them in practice?

Great vid... Any chance you and the boys can get together and do a vid on comparing boats and motors? It's so cool now with so many different boat and motor manufacturers in the game. You guys don't need to name manufacturers...are their advantages to some setups? More tin boats in the future? Any great mishap stories on the water or ramp?🤣

Guys tease me for throwing mine on an extra hvy glass rod. They have no idea what they are missing out on. The tip allows me to put it in tight spots around docks and almost no fatigue fishing it all day. Dixie Custom Rig Stik is my go too rod. Hand made in TN

I know I’m not Jacob but I would say definitely. I’ve had some amazing days fishing from the shore with an A-rig. The only downside is when you get close to the shore your rig will tend to drag on the bottom due to it being shallow. This can lead to more snags and losing your rig. But, if you are willing to up your chances of losing your rig but want to have an absolute day then I would definitely go out and give it a try.

I remember when I first started using one I threw it on 65lb braid because I didn’t want to lose a $30 rig. The bite died using what I now call the rope and chandelier approach. Switched to 20lb fluro and have had more luck, but I’ve also felt physically ill when hung up on ole stump monster. This fish are definitely onto us! Haha. Great video! Do you ever throw the 3 wire rig?

@@ScruffyCityFishing no problem. I think it works great. I haven't had any issues with leaders breaking, still get the advantages of braid, and fish won't back away from it. Tight lines man

Peanut lures makes light wire ball head jigs that are great for a rigs. 1/8 oz with a 6/0 hook and all the way down to a 3/0 hook. They go up to 1/4 ounce or maybe 3/8 ounce. Light wire hooks allow you to straighten the hook to get your rig back. If your on donkeys spend the money on quality swimbait heads.

Talking about dc’s hook set. I had a few favorite rods. And personally I did not like them. And I think his hook set is so fierce and hard is due to him using favorite rods (my opinion) I noticed with favorite rods, they are all mostly very sensitive and light tip rods. That being said. I think they don’t have the strong back bone that more brands have. When I caught fish on favorite rods, I felt at times I was using a limp noodle with my rod bent like a u down to the reel on a 2 pound bass thinking the fish was atleast a 5 giant. Watch some videos of his hook set and dc fighting fish to the boat before you challenge me on this. I’m not bashing favorite! Just what I have noticed and my opinion.

Great video on a comparatively undiscussed lure in bass fishing. You want content? Video suggestions? Victory Outdoor Services has called you out to go fishing!!! Great family guy, self made concrete company owner and it's his "off season". Fellow KZreadr. there should be more down to Earth people like you 2 setting an example to other people, especially with what's going on in the world today. It would be a win for both of you, and the country as a whole. He is also a member of the Waukesha community where the Christmas parade occurred. Thank you

To keep the dummy baits from spinning while using the CPS aka hitchhikers, cut off the of swivel and screw the CPS directly to the wire. I fish them religiously here at Clearlake and the northern California reservoirs.
