It’s quite common in India. We are facing a population abundance . See all hotels in Manali and nanital always full and extraordinary prices. Even Yatri doctor faced the same issues while going to Oman and I miss the old times of 2008 to 2015. Man those times are luxury and gold to us but they never come back.

Recently they didn’t let me checkin in air India cause I was 5 mins late at the airport , their was 55 mins left for the flight to take off apparently they were not allowing cause they had over booked the flight Note- they were 8 people along with me whom they didn’t allow to checkin and had to reschedule their flight
Flying Air Indi economy is like getting into a sleeper coach of a train.
Fly Vistara/any foreign airline. Air Asia is also a good shout
Glad that we are raising these concerns man, there's no other way service is going to improve in India, until we put our money where our mouth is. Agreed with Uncle totally!!

Are yar tata se cars to banti nahin,airplanes kya manage karenge. And to Kanwars papa - sir 30-35% discount tabhi to mil raha tha 😂, how can u expect 100rs service when you're paying 65rs? Entire urban India that flys regularly knows that air india sucks, what's new...
In the domestic sector I liked the services and attitude of staff of Vistara A/L and also of Air India. But at the same time it is comfy to travel by V/L , whereas as per my experience Air India planes are a bit cramped up . Well, that's my view but exp can differ .

I strongly agree with sir, Air India has become worse after Tata’s takeover, it use to be much better off when it was just good old Indian Airlines.

Air India ...what can u expect from them....Tata is not same as JRD used to treat and for that matter Ratan ...now it is not the same... I had been observing all the large companies have a lot of complaints against the government in private conversations and also about policies ...what they are contributing ...US is completely run by large organization here it is not the case...The leader of that pack is TATA...they can say we are making iphones...semiconductor but it is contract manufacturing and one can argue china is now because of that but not expected from 150 old company...why not something India designed and manufactured as world class products...
Always wondered why people have the impression that Air India would improve after the Tata takeover??? .... It's not possible.... arrogance and indifference is ingrained in the airline....

Tata's have not earned customers,they have been gifted/taken over what was the old Air India impression. No airline should have the guts to challenge customers like it happened with your dad,it feels that they didn't feel responsible/accountible to whatever happens. The Air India earns more customers on merit,good service they will do better
