My Family Has Mild Coronavirus. Here's Our Home Covid-19 Treatment Plan

It’s hard to escape news on the Coronavirus and get sucked in by the latest updates. The fear and anxiety levels are high. People are getting sick. We have gone into self-quarantine, canceled events, canceled travel, work from home, look suspiciously at anyone who sneezes or coughs. When I sneeze, I look up coronavirus symptoms on Google. Is it like Ebola, Zika virus, Parainfluenza, h1n1 virus?
It is a viral infection and an airborne disease that we need to take serious precautions but many people have gone overboard.
Well, the coronavirus has hit home for us. My daughter had it and now my husband has it. They were put into self-quarantine where they are in their own separate room. Self-isolation is one of the ways to contain the disease. We have had to make many adjustments in our routines but so far, I have managed to stay healthy. Today I share some of things we have done to contain the disease so that I have managed to stay healthy (i may be asymptomatic who knows), treat my family members who are sick and create routine so that perhaps if you find you are going through a similar experience you can find ways to treat at home and get through this.

We were told by our doctor to stay home and monitor because our area also had no tests. So why do you go after this woman for trying to help. Then you scare people with links like this.     My dad got positive yesterday(5days ago before he felt something), before the result came out my mom have cough already and a lil bit sick. Right now I have cough, last night my daughter(4yrsold) had a fever(101.1) and subside after 5hrs. Then this morning my son (3yrsold) is having productive cough.. I'm still freaking out and scared whats going to happen day by day. Please pray for us and for those who's experiencing this virus. Luckily my husband is still healthy thank God.     I had a mild case..was perfectly fine then out of nowhere within an hour time my lungs were hurting..I could breath just fine but my lungs felt sore like they lifted weights! Mild cough..tested positive, but after results came back I was already better..quarantined myself in a room alone cause we have my 72 year old mom living with us..no way I was taking a chance on that..luckily only I caught it.     my head is feeling dizzy rn and I also feel my throat being soar which is in turn making a sort of illusion that I can't breathe or i am suffocating not sure if this is Corona, because I know I haven't been in direct touch with anyone since last few months and I also wash my hands after I go out I try to avoid handshakes and any body contact, wear (Edit:mask) but this is all of a sudden feels overwhelming. Lately I've been nocturnal because of no school and stuff which has drastically disturbed my body clock, my headache could be an outcome of that disruption in my body clock, I suppose? and bout throat being soar I just drank something really cold ( a dairy product ) it could be that? But ugh maybe it's just me overthinking idk man I am still going to quarantine myself, be safe everyone. Sorry if I am being vague.

    I had a mild case of covid-19 last month. I live in a nursing home in Ontario Canada and we were in outbreak status at the time. I found the worst was the horrible cough, started dry turned nasty. It took me all of February to get over it. I'm now still self isolating in case I could be a carrier of it. God bless all of us and I pray it may end soon. 🇨🇦😇

    Relax Thomas... yr immune system does well wen relaxed n not stressed... 1. Keep it strong by having turmeric ginger tea or just boil them with bit black pepper n have as often as can- atleast 2 times a day. 2. Do little pranayam or breaths thru each n alternate nostrils..like 7- 10 each side ..( u can Google KZread for nadishodhan breathing) 3. Watch funny movies n serials like Friends n Seinfeld 😁 I guarantee you will be fine even if u have it!👍 Oh n u cld get some sunshine n fresh air too wenever possible 😉🌸🌞

    My mother, who is a nurse, got tested psotive for Coronavirus. The result took 7 days ro be declared, unfortunately. We all are taking test tomorrow. My mother is already sick with asthma.     I am in Gainesville Ga too. I believe I contracted the virus because I had mild headaches for 5 days straight (never had headache more than one day) but I’m feeling fine now.

    Same, my daughter is 15 had 4 symptoms Headache ,tiredness,body pain sore throat which she couldn’t speak for 3days. The only thing I gave her was pain killers for her headaches. And I boiled ginger and lemon in the pot. 2days later she was fine. All symptoms gone. Use old school remedies

Make a pot of tea drink every morning , and boiled ginger, garlic, lemon, red onions if you want add honey never drink tea with sugar don't drink to much cold liquid even at night drink ginger tea keep your body warm that would help you with the virus even if you feeling good keep drinking tea.

    Get fresh air people!! It helped me a lot and I have asthma. Go outside for at least 30 minutes a day. You will sweat a lot and that helps. Once I started going outside and walking around my yard my breathing got much better. My symptoms were at its worst when I stayed in my room. When I started to go outdoors i felt much better even took a ride down the road with the windows down so I can get fresh air in my lungs. Now I’m fine after about 7 days

    I had the cob-19 with Neumonia and chest pressure. My treatment at home was: 1.Doctors antibiotics for Neumonia 2. Eucalyptus Steam ( boilld Eucalyptus and Smells as much you could the steam -- do this 4 times a day until you feel better). 3. Aspirin ( I took 2 Aspirin with one lime, some water and made a tea--- only one time for 5 days) 4. Red onions with honey ( grate the onion put honey to cover an let sit until next day. I drink this every day twice a day for 2 weeks). 5. I drink a lot of water 6.Watch only funny tv shows no more Cob-19 News ( My favorite show is Everbody Loves Raymond) 7. Pray and ask my fellow friends to pray for me. My son's only took two Theraflu for 3 days and he got better. Hope this could help someone else. God bless you all!🙏🙏🙏

    I got Covid and finally out of quarantine 1/17. I was scared but was taking vitamins like crazy before. I was afraid because I am very overweight. I got better and now just have a mild cough. I’m drinking onion tea and it soothes my throat. I lost taste and smell so was eating super healthy and I am continuing this. I am so great full for not getting severely sick like others 💔 😢😔and I thank my body and take care of it more now than ever. It’s insane how I always found it difficult to eat healthy and do things that are better for my body but ever since this happened it was like a complete mind change awakening moment of I need to take care of myself and I am grateful for that I was able to have a positive learning moment with going through this. I have 4 kids and thank God they neither my husband got sick. I wish you all the best

    I got diagnosed on christmas eve. i couldnt believe it. i was so careful all damn year and it finally got me. i did a mad rush of christmas shopping and grocery shopping before the storm. the stores were packed but i had my mask and gloves. luckily my symptoms were very mild and its been over a week since i suspected getting sick. i just had fatigue and bodyaches. i took a multi vitamin, magnesium with zinc and D3. my boyfriend gave me his 50lb weighted blanket which helped with the aches at night. i do recommend a weighted blanket!

    Am still working in a hospital so I recommend removing your shoes prior to entering. placing work clothes in a special bin and using Clorox on laundry day. To assist with nasal passage inhales steamed pepper and salt. For throat, have lounges every 3 hrs. Also, consume alot of water and add ginger and garlic in your juicing. Finally, prayer

    Yep, prayer will help - absolutely nothing. I saw what prayer did for the wildfires in California- nothing. The drought in Australia- nothing. The Coronavirus in the USA - nothing (it’s getting worse), and friends with cancer - nothing.     I'm just going to throw this out......,a good many people now are very focused on washing their hands and cleaning services etc. now people are meditating this s*** away which okay I understand meditation can raise your immune system and all that but here's a very other good way to keep this virus away. thinking about it a little bit after you read this and tell me just tell me if you don't think people don't understand that this goes beyond washing their hands. BUT.., MANY ARE NOT CONSCIOUS OF WHAT THEY TOUCH AFTER. Many people go to the grocery store.,bring all that stuff home and stick it right in the refrigerator or pantry. If you think about all the things that have gone through that register and all the money that cashier is touching the whole day and then touches your products, you put them in the bag or whatever and then come home and stick them in your fridge. You have cross-contamination of germs and then you open the bag of whatever it is you're about to eat after you've touched the packaging and then proceed to put that stuff in your mouth! Then we wonder why we get the flu every stinking year? We walk in and out of our house.,our kids and pets play on the floor we are walking on and then they hug or jump on us and we think by just washing our hands were really solving enough of something. I'm sorry to say so many people have gross habits and it's not because they're nasty but because there is a lack of education. Many people just grew up that way and didn't know any better and now to change those habits takes quite a lot or a special type of mind and person that really cares about protecting their family from viruses. Let me give you a quick list of what I do in my home. You can write this, copy it, do it, practice it and please share with your friends & family or whatever you want to do., it's up to you and I hope you do care enough to practice it and share it. 1.Our floors are completely sanitized and we have indoor and outdoor shoes. let me just add that the shoes stay outside the door frame and the inside shoes are inside the door frame (I meant to say threshold) The dog wears shoes when on a walk and has been trained not to sit on the outside floor. little by little but it has been accomplished and people it's not impossible. Period. If you're the type of pet owner that loves to hug your dog and play on the floor with your dog keep in mind that you are essentially rolling on the floor outside in the streets yourself just by doing that., Unless of course your dog is trained like mine is. 2. Use gloves to touch all the groceries from the store and wash anything that can be washed before it goes inside the refrigerator and anything that you can put inside a clean container that will keep fresh. Do that all the while wearing gloves so that the outer packaging of the items we purchase are not touched with our hands and do your best to not touch the containers of the stuff that's going to go in your cupboards with those gloves. Sometimes this could be a little tedious but if you have someone to help you it works out. Example; You buy cheese., Open the packaging with your gloves.,then you take the gloves off and you put your hands inside the packaging very carefully without touching the outside of it., you take out the cheese put it in a container that goes inside your refrigerator. Yes., I do this with every single item that comes into my home. Once you do it enough it becomes second nature. At the begining these practices can seem., again tedious but if you stick to it and give it a chance you'll be glad you did. You can potentially keep your kids free from the cold and flu virus which then they give it to you and it's no fun spending the holidays like that every year. 2. After you walk inside your home and you touch the door knobs to bring the groceries in please remember that those door knobs need to be sanitized otherwise what's the point? 😀 That's it for now wishing you all a conscious and happy healthy living.

    Raul Lopez , how did it help the church congregations that caught the virus? How did it help the California drought that lasted years? How did it help a friend that just about everyone has that died of cancer? How am I fake? You know exactly what I think! I can give you (and find a lot more) examples of prayer that did not work - even for the believers. Please explain why James 5:14-15 doesn’t apply to EVERY sick person. It says nothing of faith - you just like to add that in. ie make stuff up. Fake it! ;)

    I survived --solo, living alone - suffered SO much and I have offered so much to God as prayers for everyone. I'm a nurse who got slapped with it and I never get sick! Though I have diabetes and thalassemia, I NEVER....GET! I eat well, drink a lot of water with lemons (76 lemons later!), walk, teach zumba, love nature/the outdoors. I laugh a lot, pray a lot, read a lot, serve a lot, etc. Tough Italian woman. Nurse. HOWEVER, being on isolation, nursing myself, only dying three times.....oh my gosh, this has been horrible ut God is merciful and let me live, to continue serving and taking care of my patients and parents but oh my gosh.....it's day 29. Pericarditis from days of struggle...weeks. On the mend, thank God but YES YES YES.....good foods, fruits and vegetables...stuff we should be doing ANYWAY! There Zinc is huge. And ULTRA hydration.     I tested positive for COVID. I started feeling like I had a cold and allergies, decided to go get checked out just in case and came back positive. I had horrible migraines and back pain. It only last 2-3 days. Then I felt like I was back to normal. Then all it a sudden I lost my smell and taste. 4 days later I could smell and taste very little. This has been so hard to be away from my son, luckily he’s 6 so he can understand. Praying for everyone’s health. 🙏🏻

    Don't watch the news often, they kinda catastrophize everything. Especially if you deal with anxiety.. everything will be fine, just stay calm and be alert Edit: I'm not trying to downplay the seriousness of this at all. Definitely stay updated and take precautions, however don't be that person who gets extra paranoid and runs to the store to get a lifetime supply of toilet paper. Most panic buyers are motivated by fear and caused a chain reaction all over the world for others to do the same. In these unprecedented times, be vigilant, not anxious or ignorant and follow the associated guidelines published by the CDC and WHO.

    You’re probably one of those people who also refuses to talk about politics because it’s negative. I don’t understand the society I live in. Too many people like you live in fear and because of it your voice and point is moot. This is why democracy is disappearing in America! You’re annoyed with the media taking a viral pandemic seriously. The fact is that this is a catastrophe and the last thing I would want is for them to downplay it so that my elderly mother with health problems didn’t take it seriously. you should learn to deal with your emotions and process your anxiety and fears rather than ignore them because they make you feel uncomfortable. Life is uncomfortable in situations like this greatly prove it!

    @@wakeup3581 It sounds to me like you're really worried about your mother and other vulnerable people who are stubborn, which I totally understand. It's so hard when these things are mostly out of our control. My dad doesn't understand why his care home has the place on lockdown, but thank god they do or he'd be out and about. I found juni's comment helpful, though, and it's in keeping with medical professionals' advice: be alert but not anxious. My mental health is better when I briefly check the news for updates once a day instead of spending hours on it like I was at first. My phone conversations with my dad are better, too, because I'm less stressed. Just my 2 cents.

    June 18th 2020 I woke up with running nose and got better next day, and next day lost smell and taste. Coffee taste and smell like sandy sour. Now 23rd June and getting better. Test came positive yesterday as I already know due to loss of smell and taste. I am 35 year old male and healthy, no smoking or drinking alcohol. Prayers for all and may God bless us all.     Thank you ..... this really gave me mental support I was craving for ....... my father contracted the virus from his colleague and currently it has been 5 days ..... the fever is still there ..... me and my mom are trying to stay away as much possible...... I'm praying with my everything .......... hope he and everyone suffering from it gets well soon ...... this nightmare will end one day and those fortunate people who have not yet contracted the virus ..... please please take all the measurements to protect yourself from it .

    Symptoms are like similar to the flu. I felt that exact same way last flu season and took like 3-4 days to fight it off and back to normal. I appreciate you sharing 👍🏼

    True Julissa, I guess the healthy member should sleep on the couch/floor for a couple of weeks. One bathroom? I assume it has to be 100% disinfected after the ill person uses it. I agree with you, is a tough situation.

    I had a persistent cough for a day... I immediately made some lemon ginger honey tea (boiled ginger root) and I took theraflu and the coughing stopped and severe upper back pain... I decided to get a covid test 2 days later and it was positive. They put me on prednisone, azithromycin, liquid hydrocodone, and albuterol... a week in I’m almost back to myself. Taste and smell is back also. I never developed a fever thank God. I think the key is to take immediate action before things get worst. My husband persuaded me to get tested or I would’ve tried to take care of myself. Good look! Oh also, sit up don’t lay around especially on your back... move around and take constant deep breaths for your lungs.

    I live in a one bedroom apartment with 5 of us in total and we all got sick except my sister. My dad is in the hospital and I just received my results, positive. Due to the minimal space I often feel as if this will not end but your video definitely gave me hope. Thank you !

    splindertec k You are incorrect in saying there are no “mild Coronavirus”. First she is saying that her daughter and husband are showing milder symptoms of the Covid-19 virus and there are literally hundreds of thousands of cases of people who only exhibit milder symptoms. That’s how the virus has spread so quickly because people who are asymptotic (they show little to no symptoms at all) or have milder symptoms are in fact infectious to others. This virus has shown more serious and critical symptoms in people who are elderly or have compromised immune systems. And even people with no pre-existing health issues can have more critical symptoms as well. Just because someone hasn’t been able to get a test doesn’t mean they don’t have it. I’m grateful that she has shared her story and demonstrated what they have done to contain it in their own home and to not spread it to others.

    tessyatl until they are tested, they cant say they have covid 19, and there is no mild coronavirus. Either u are suffering from covid 19 or you dont. And coronavirus is the virus, covid 19 is the condition. So pls get the terms right first. And again, the term ‘mild coronoavirus’ do not even make sense

    BeyondtheHorizon correct. You’re contagious no matter what, however symptoms vary from person to person. That’s why many infected are alive & get past the shitty symptoms & others may suffer more extreme symptoms where their respiratory system basically shuts down; those people are the majority who don’t make it

    Most of the healthy food are bad in taste and we keep skipping from our daily life . So if you have coronavirus and dont have sense of smell or taste (common symptoms of virus), so it's the best time to consume more n more healthy foods like veggie juices etc .     toffeegirl __ thank you. Yess we are so lucky we had mild symptoms..I had headaches,loss of sense of smell&taste.My husband had severe headaches,fever and cough..We got tested for free at local places...and we just self isolated at home&drank tea..

    I work in a hospice. My anxiety is so bad i feel like im not even on earth. Im so upset and scared. Please pray for my hospice clients. I cant sleep, im afraid to buy groceries, i cant eat. I feel so lost, my body is taking the grunt of it all. Im showering 3 times a day. My mind is so full of anxiety. Im literally living minute by minute.     Do not panic please. More people recover from this. Look into homeopathic remedies like Bryonia 30 at the first sight of symptoms and consult homeopath. Many people with Corona are being treated and cured with homeopathy. Please don't take ibuprofen or other allopathic remedies that might worsen the problem Have faith.     @@a.x.x8184 Yeah we dont even know if we have the virus or not, i cant help but to keep on thinking about it, we will have the swab test maybe nextweek. Please pray for me and my family and hope that we will get negative results as they starting to feel unwell since the past few days and i live with them, its very hard and scary, but as long as we have faith and believe that we will get better and better as the days passed, we can get over it

    @@missmysticrose7543 Hope you will also feel better soon, its hard to have these symptoms as it keeps us from overthinking if we already have the virus or not. But lets be safe and always practice social distancing and frequent handwashing, disinfecting is also necessary.
