New catholic convert here - I had a really good experience in my RCIA classes but I know not everyone does. It does depend quite a bit on who is giving the course and the depth of their knowledge.

If you believe catholic doctrine, you have definitely been fooled! You have been sold tradition and theory instead of scriptural truth. I can only pray that you see their false teachings for what they are before you have to answer to God for your decisions!

Hmm no , there is oral tradition , writen tradition and scripitural truth which by the way was put together by the Catholic Church specifically by Pope Damasus in year 385... Christianity didnt start when the bible was put together, it started before when our Lord founded his Church handed the keys to saint peter and then apostolic sucession followed, you have th Church fathers and the apostolic sucession, the authority of the councils that followed etc..there is a clear lineage and 2000 years of historic facts, theology, eccleseology , martyrs, saints etc and all can be traced back. Your sola scriptura and by faith alone nonsense with 4 centuries oh history falls on its back with the heretic Luther, its incomplete cherry picked bible and goes against sacred scripture. Hope you can see the truth one day

@@at519 Hmmmm no, oral tradition does not outweigh , overrule or even colour scripture. It's either in the Bible or it isn't! There is ZERO scriptural support for the heretic beliefs and disgusting habits of the catholic religion. The God of salvation is not the god you worship. I pray you see the truth and act on it before you have to answer to my God.

@@brucedavenport7016@brucedavenport7016 Imagine you time travel to 100 AD and have a theological argument with a Christian then. To defend your position, you utter the phrase, "It's either in the Bible or it isn't!". How do you think they would react?

@@maxellton I deal in what I consider to be material fact when it comes to God. The material facts I have to deal with are contained in the 66 books of the inspired word of God. The contents of those books have proven to be true and accurate to me and a multitude of others. Flights of fancy are for those that need to change scripture to support their theology. Repent, be baptized, get filled with the Holy Spirit and walk daily with Christ. That is the salvation message from the God that is the same yesterday, today and forever.

@@brucedavenport7016 In around 1600, the Protestants removed the 7 deuterocanonical books from the canon of Scripture. So, if you believe that the 66 books of the Bible are the inspired word of God, then for 1000 years, you don't have a reliable canon of scripture. So, for 1000 years, there is no authority.
