I am so the same way with temperatures and 70 is what I keep mine at if not 69 and I can tell if it is off by 1 degree as well. I get overheated easy at work in higher temps too. Also I am very funny about keeping things organized and clean and in place etc. I rather not have different people in my space as well because it affects my routines. It is so wild how many things I have in common and so I truly think I have some form of autism though I never thought of it. I enjoy your videos. Thank you for making them and keep them up.

Very relatable! It helps to hear about situations from an outside perspective to better contemplate my own. Funny & inspiring, thanks for sharing!

At least you made a cut into convincing your parents to let you go to a far away college. Not many autistic person can convince their parents to let them attend a far away college. I am autistic and my parents would of have me choose a close to home college. As for your living arrangement, welcome to the life of living independent because in your situation, it won't be the roommate's job to feed you. It will be an environment where you take care of yourself and your roommate take care of themselves. It is an environment where they don't look out for you and you don't look out for them because it is expected they won't treat you like a family member or friends. Only thing you will do is share the rent and the space. So whole point of living life as a roommate is to be comfortable in solitude life. If you end up not feeling comfortable in solitude life, you will end up feeling homesick. I can say that the pro about having a roommate is at least they leave you alone and does not call complain about any solitude life. As an autistic person, I hate attention seeker and I hate people who refuses to take care of themselves but at least I would always view of getting a roommate in college as a way to be free from attention seekers.

I didn’t find out I was autistic until three years into college. So know one knew, neither my family nor me. I’ve always taken care of myself for the most part, including cooking my own meals, making my own money, etc. I love when I have roommates that don’t bother me - that’s the goal. But it isn’t always the case and there’s been a lot of situations that have really impacted my health. Living with others can help you understand what you are and aren’t willing to tolerate, as well as what you hope your living situation can look like in the future. 😅

@@brisbreathing That is no wonder your parents would let you go to a faraway college and start an independent life because so far, you survived all those trials of being able to live like a normal person which meant your family trusts you. So it is clear you were not born autistic because if you were, more independent opportunities is taken away from you. I would do whatever it takes to get my solitude life.

@@hp2546 You can’t develop autism, you’re either autistic or you aren’t. Many people (especially girls) with lower support needs do not get diagnosed during childhood and it leads to so many other mental health struggles. I know that our experiences could never compared; I don’t know how your autism impacts your life and vice versa. It makes perfect sense to want independence. Sometimes, I’m not sure it’s something I will be able to achieve.

I don´t know if you´re a music freak like me but maybe put on some headphones and listen to music when you get tired of the noises from the people around.
