The special attack is too slow

Monkey king's biggest weakness is the lack of combo and block break. Jingu attacks are easy to dodge by crouching or jumping, and Asension attacks are easily countered, since you can dodge both Ascension attacks at a certain range, or just use fast attacks to knock down front Ascension, and diagonal jump kick to punish back Ascension. So Monkey king literally has no safe block break move. Also, there's not a single combo known for Monkey king, in corner grab+upper attack+basic attack isn't true I think, and in corner grab+upper attack+back Ascension can be dodged by a back roll. 0 combo and 0 safe block break. This is exactly why Monkey King is the worst legendary hero.

well you have to use the heavenly attacks smartly. monkey king has a bad and slow moveset but his damage and defense are rlly strong. i do agree on no combos but not on the jingu techniques part. due to his high damage and defense he is worth using but the moveset and slow attack speed its quiet difficult to play with him.

Monkey king when fully mastered is dangerous. for it's jingu power , and mainly for high defence and offence purposes

Man I remember how back in the day he was one of the strongest Character and everyone was feared 💀 but unfortunately because of better Legendary Characters he is no longer that good, although his Damage is still nice when compared to the other Legends

Monkey is my favorite hero in the game. Indeed, without the epic weapon it is extremely difficult to play with him. Jingu Tehnic can be easily tamed and that's really frustrating. The best thing about him is the heavenly attack, but he is also predictable. Overall, a good hero, but still needs improvement. He's slow considering what he has to offer and his moves are predictable and very risky. It should be improved. Since I've been playing him, Sarge is the hero I've beaten the fewest times. Monkey king is a hero who is defamed by spammers and campers. I've used mk in beta and he is destructable in damage and defence, but he is too weak against heroes like itu, lynx, butcher etc. Edit - like for agree😂

The only thing that needs to be tweaked is ascension speed because it doesn't match regular jump timing, making it impossible to dodge some attacks with ascension. In other words, MK climbs up his staff for too long.

As I commented on your previous video,his main weakness is his jingu.There are two best solution in my opinion.1. Monkey has same swing for two horizontal button.So it can be easily dodged.But if he had two different swings for two buttons then it will be harder to dogde as opponent has to crouch or roll twice. 2..While using jingu something ties the opponent on the ground.Then the up and side jingu will connect even without the epic weapon.The only way to dodge that is to jump very quickly.

If they could change the last ability taunt talent of monkey king to invincibility in jingu technique and change the ability of epic weapon ig it will solve the problem .... I dont think that monkey king is so weak that he will need a rework fully or of just jingu technique .

Monkey is my main hero and is also my only legendary hero I have been polaying with him for a year now, and I know most tactics his pros are good damage, high health his cons are literally each and every hero in the arena has at least one weapon attack which is fast except monkey, even bulwark has fast special attack, itu as fast basic weapon attack, king has fast up attack, his attacks needs to get just a little bit faster so that the player can use them with reflexes instead of with predictions or with the help of resourceful monkey his epic weapon is also ultra slow when it comes to weapon ability starting, most players in leaderboard stop his epic weapon ability with a simple kick unlike other legendary heroes like king remorseless dominian, itu shadow and etc and it is as simple as pressing a simple down button to dodge his horizontal jingu, and even the ultra new players can dodge his up jingu attack or shadow equivalent attack and lastly his ascension feels like an impossible thing to dodge for low dojo players since they don't know that his any number of ascensions can be easily dodged by being at a special distance, because ascension has a blind spot, by being where you won't get attack with ascension even the millionth time for these 3 above reasons he is simply weak as f, even the most common hero shang has unescapable shadow but but but monkey being a legendary every one can mock his ascension by being in the blind spot of ascension and mock his shadow equivalent by simply kicking him while he is near to you and his ingu bar is full or by simply pressing down arrow when you are far from monkey I left the game after tzu because he is broken and other kegendary heroes critical attack spam king and forget the past spam itu gives no chance to you they need to do some rework both on him and his literal useless or barely useful weapon in camparison to other heroes' epic weapons these are the reasons no one sees monkeys in the top leaderboard like itu, june, king, the broken and accepted clad and tzu and etc

Monkey King needs rework in moveset or atleast make him faster he is slower than tortoise and restore his staff like before longer range

They have to re-design his Jingu techniques as he have only two and even those are too easy to dodge. They have to make at least one Jingu to be connect without any miss.

His heavy attack should be improved, at least like yuline.

Monkey king's best moves are his forward attack and down attack.

After grabbing opponent, you can use upper jingu Connects almost every time

EPIC HERO'S ARE BEST !!!

The problem with Monkey King is that Jingu is the worst special energy in the game, and its not even close. Both of his jingu strikes are so slow and useless. Even with the epic weapon that gives them invincibility, theyre still too slow, take way too long to charge, and are way too easy to dodge and punish. If Jingu artacks were good, then Monkey King could actually do something. Also Ascension is just so painfully slow and easy to dodge... Both of his unique abilities are just awful, which reduces him to just a slow staff user.

If they gave MK a weapon to became invincible then at least try to make it perfect 😂

I do kind of agree to that but..... I think lower level players can't handle monkey King as their enemy. But practice can help master him. Cuz I've unlocked monkey King and I'm playing with him for about a couple weeks and even though I am a low level player, i understand this fact.....

Grind in roulette and as many as shard chest if possible and open shard chest with insignias Although but it's a bit hard to get shards of hero which aren't unlocked you can just try watching ads everytime

his up and down move is same as yunlin, back attack as ziang tzu.. In my opinion, one thiny which makes him unique is his ascension which is the strongest tool. For most of the times it's tough to predict when he's gonna attack while in ascension... and yk about the spammers

Surprisingly MK works well against June, Lynx and Helga..His upper attack and acsension can counter June, His spinning attack can counter lynx, acsension can save you from Helga's shining dash while counter attacking it..He is not good against other characters..
