My daughter was diagnosed at age 31. Her journey was similar to yours. I remember well her head-shaving party. Fast forward to now: she is 40 and healthy and doing really well. Go get 'em and thrive!

You look great! I remember being there when my son’s head was shaved. It was a very traumatic experience for him. And he waited until he had bald patches and patches gone where his collar rubbed the back of his neck. He didn’t want to let go but It was time for the shave! He was 25 yrs old and had chemo for testicular cancer. 5 years later he is fine and has a 3 yr old daughter.

You have a stunning face and carry this off. As a nurse that prep ops patients for implanted port a catheters (intravascular catheters).). Frequently I-see patients 6 months to 2 years later (for port removal) it’s a process. They look great. Relieved and hairy from new hair growth. Power to you. Many of my other pre op patients are breast cancer survivors telling tales that they had cancer many years ago. You will be one that out lives this keep the faith and take care of Im rooting for you. Always ask your oncology doctor or chemo nurse any questions or concerns you have. That’s their expertise
