    I am black woman who has visited turkey with my family. We were treated like royalty everywhere we went. We were given free gifts too. They kept complimenting our skin tones. Such welcoming people.

    Ohh you will experience the stares quite a lot here man :) Staring can be considered the national sport for Turkish people. (It can be a common sight for several people to stare at a construction site, at this point I believe protective fences are not for security reasons, but to stop the stares lol) It is generally not frowned upon to stare in Turkey. And those looks are 99% with the naivety of a curios child and especially more common in rural areas, and directed to anyone and has no malice whatsoever please try not to get offended, I know it probably feels weird. If you take a second to go talk to anyone who stares at you, they will probably offer you chai (tea) and/or Turkish coffee, even dinner and a place to stay if you are in a hardship, accompanied by lots of personal questions. :) It can be considered hard to live in if you don't like attention at all. But if you like attention, with the clumsy but cute efforts to entertain and get to know you by locals you will feel like a movie star surely after a few weeks :)

    Happy for your good experiences in Turkey! The comment section is interesting... Why do people feel so offended by stares? Every time I'm in African countries people stare at me, touch me, children sing songs for me about "white people" and follow me through streets, people even name/call me "white" while e.g. shopping conversations. I never took it like "bad intentions". When you think negatively you'll feel negatively. Feel special because you are💓. Good vibes only 💕May God bless and protects you in all your ways 🙏inşAllah

  • @demia328

    @demia328

    Ай бұрын

    @@TheAlmightyRedPillNation I am not sure, I was born in America so I am not used to Turkish culture and stuff even though my dad grew up there. For me, I never saw it like "I like Black men" specifically, my boyfriend was just a good guy and I fell for him. Skin color was not a factor for me, but I also grew up with 2 older brothers who are half-black (we have different dads) so it wasn't like I was sheltered to only grow up with White people unlike the general population of Turkey. I do know there is not a large population of Black people in Turkey as it is, so I do not think that you will have a hard time finding a woman because you will be different from what they are used to seeing and maybe catch their eyes? But, that might be a con, because you might deal with inappropriate micro-aggressions since many of them have not seen Black people before. But, my dad says Turkish people are hospitable people, and that they will never be mean to you just because you have a different skin color. So i say, I think you have fair game! 😁 Also, it is very traditional there. With the man being the breadwinner, the wife being a stay @ home mom. So just be wonderous of that as well when dating!

    @@demia328 ah I see, so it will be a new experience for you also, yh I get that, but you're born in the west.. So I can see how his skin colour did not play a favor in your choice. Yes that's understandable. Yes I was thinking that, I'm from the UK, and I'm a boxer so I keep myself in a good shape most of the time, so I think they will see me as different in a Good way! Yes that definitely could be the case, but il for sure have my wits about me when I'm there. I agree with you, I just watched one of my favourite your KZread guys, he's from the UK too and went Turkey, and it all looked pretty positive! That's Exellent! That's exactly what I'm looking for, a traditional woman who wants to rely on me as the bread winner while she stays at home and tends to the house and the children. Even though I was brought up in the west, I'm a traditionally Masculine man... Hence why I'm going over seas to find a traditional wife. Il send you this other video, show your boyfriend aswell. Then he can get an idea of what it might be like for him.
