    The nice thing is that it wasn't the kids fault. That incident just shone a light on the issues their parents had, the poster was annoyed by that but had no problem moving on if it wasn't for the pettiness about paying for phones and whatnot.

    @comprehensive6952 the kids were just beeing kids. This incident should have been something everyone would lough about after two days. Their parents reaction was really bad. And shows how many toxic feeling they harbored towards (unaware) OP for s long time. They seemed to have been in a fight with OP for years now without OP taking part in it. They remind me of my brothers ex wife. She hated me and all I ever did was beeing kind and helpfull to her. I lived in another country for months and she managed to fight with me despite me beeing present or even knowing about it.... it all came out later. And it is weird how the kids choose OP out of all people to try and push him into the pool... kids feel how their parents think of other people. Jealousy is an ugly emotion. It needs to be contained

    I knew this story was going to be crazy... my grandma had a family cabin everyone used and when she passed she gave it to my uncle but requested that he keep letting everyone use it. All hell broke lose when a different sibling decided to live their and contribute absolutely zero to it. In the end he decided to sell the place but not before everyone learned about it and robbed the place blind... my grandmas china collection, gone. Ancient nasty green lamp, gone. Power tools, gone. AmAzInGLY my aunt found some of the stuff at the local dump and decided to keep it! Wow right? What are the odds?! Everyone else who knew her was going to be at the HUUGE church funeral. My great grandma owned a property in mexico. . Her children my aunt's, kidnapped her at some point from a different aunts home and changed the custody to themselves. . Who ever had custody of her would get her property. . It started a big fight, and the family split in half. . Well like 3 years later my great grandma passed away after not allowing the other side of the family seeing her. . Kinda weird in my opinion. . Well after they try and get the property in mexico. It turns out the neighbor was paying the property tax and became the default owner. So no one in the family got the lot with the poorly maintained house. . I thought it was funny. Kinda mad I didn't get to see my great grandma until she was on her death bed. . This was my mom's side of the family and they don't like me cause of who my dad is. Even my grandma and mom feel the same way. . I left em behind. But yea i got treated like shit. Just wanted to mention their greed and how they failed.

    I bet OP is going to really appreciate that place in the future. A lot of people when they get older either want to live by the beach or in the woods/mountains. Sounds like OP probably isnt the biggest people person and will like to live a slower, less stressful life in the future so my bet is he will grow to appreciate that house

    Tbf, it's not even a big deal. The kids are just being kids having fun. The problem is that the parents didn't take responsibility that their kids were getting a bit out of hand and trashed their phones, yet blamed the OP for them falling into the water.

  • @DaBaseBallZ

    @DaBaseBallZ

    Uhh dude,the kids were aged 7-11 I'm very very very sure the average kid knows not to push pepole into pools by the age of 8 (I know because I had many cousins at that age range and they all knew from 7 not to push pepole,especially into pools) What do you mean it's not a big deal? What if that neighbour who was pushed off couldn't swim due to being an elderly or disabled or something?

  • @solidsnake5644

    @solidsnake5644

    6 ай бұрын

    @@DaBaseBallZ I agree with you that the average kid should know better, but I really don't have an issue with kids playing pranks and being kids either. There's a fine line though. If the kids are pulling pranks on strangers, then that should be corrected quickly by the parents. But if it's to family and friends, it should be alright depending on the prank. The problem in the original post is that the parents got mad for their kids being brats and rather than scolding their children, went after OP. Also, you're being pretty hyperbolic to point out that the person who was pushed could have been someone who couldn't swim. What's you're point? The person being pushed into the pool could've also been an Olympic swimmer too for all we know. We could speculate with hypotheticals, but that's all they are: hypotheticals. What matters is what happened. And what happened is that the kids pulled a prank and they were outplayed and their parents were mad at the wrong person.

    I was that kid who would run around and try to push people in the pool with my brothers and cousins. But once mobiles came a thing we always knew not to push anyone with one, we also had all the adults always telling us not to run and if we fell in we were laughed at and told to not run and be careful after making sure we were alright. Double especially when one of us couldn't swim. I cant imagine letting your kids run and push people into pools destroying phones and potential to slip and fall in especially when you know they cant swim. Just irresponsible parenting
