I sharpened my buddy’s Tenacious with the 8cr13mov and I was impressed with the edge it took. Spyderco 8cr13mov is not your everyday cheap steel.

I’ve been carrying my 15v shaman a lot lately! Sweet collection Dood

Beautiful collection! I still do not own a single Syderco! Had a Shaman in my hands a couple of months ago, but didnt pull the trigger. One of these days!!

Great collection. I initially thought Spyderco made fugly knives. After seeing many videos - yours especially helped convince me - I got my 1st PM2 last year and fell in love with it. Picked up a Knifejoy exclusive 20CV Li'l Native at Christmas time and that knife is almost permanent in my EDC carries. Next I want Manix 2, Smock, Para3, Canis, Shaman, native 5, etc..... So dang many!

I have around 30 spyderco. Some models I have multiple. Pm2 was my first spyderco. I was fortunate to grab all 4 15v models. My favorites are pm2, Manix 2, shaman, endura

I have a lot of Spydercos too. You should try the slys Bowie Kevin.

That’s a lot of cutting power on one table! Love the custom jobs you’ve done as well. Can’t wait for the competition. I only have my PM2 left, which is pretty much my daily right now. But, man I do miss that blade finish on the Swayback. I’m with you on that. Awesome collection Dood.

i've collected knives a couple years now. production, midtech, custom. hands down spyderco is best bang for your buck ACTUAL cutting tools. owning many of them. Chef, native para 3, para 2 , techno 2, sage 5, manix 2, delica, chapperal, brouwer, probably missing some. the one that i would choose for edc overall is the Native 5 in cruwear. its thats good. figet factor, boringly good cutting. good ergos. enough blade for daily tasks. i think it is at the top and if i had to choose one production knife i think that would be it

I got the Bodacious on order along with the S90V/Teal exclusive PM2. I have the BBB Shaman and Manix 2 as well but I am keeping them “in box” as they are more of an investment due to their limited run and popularity.

Dude the cut test you put out on the delica warncliff was what finally convinced me it was time to get a Spyderco knife. I absolutely love mine and now I can’t stop buying their knives in k390. I just wish they would start doing the Shaman and Native 5 in it because man it just works so well. Thanks for getting me into Spyderco man!

Fantastic collection! Your Spydercos are on point with some great scales. I think a lot of us got into this hobby after seeing someone open their Spyderco with a spydie-flick. 😂 I hope you get a chance to really use a Kapara, someday, if you haven’t already. I think they’re pretty awesome and there’s lots of scale choices on the secondary market. From Micarta to Titanium.

Yeah man get a Sage 5 for sure but wait for the rex121 to come out just to try something new. It’ll be a while but would be fun. The Sage 5 is my all time favorite spyderco next to the native 5

You forgot Magnacut when listing the steels available for the Para 3 LW. Just picked one up a week or so ago and it’s awesome.

If you love the Native you really should try the Chaparral. It's like a slightly smaller Native with way thinner blade stock (like QC Drift thin). The FRN version is cheap and still extremely well made.

I take stretch 2 in k390 over pm2 any day. Especially if you don't mind backlocks but prefer slicier blades. Great collection and customized to the max!

@@doodysdaggers By spydercos spec: PM2: Blade Thickness 0.145" (3.7mm) Stretch2: Blade Thickness 0.118" (3mm) So it is a considerable difference in my oppinion.

If there's noChaparral there's no collection.

Don't know why we don't see more CTS XHP in use on the market. I own a SOG Pentagon in that steel, excellent edge retention. I gotta get me a Little Native. Good video, Kevin. Thanks. Oh, and I think you need a Manix 2XL.

sage 5 in rex 121's coming, I'm patiently waiting for that and the magnacut para 3. you might like the mcbee. I'm going to copy your delica build, I already have the flytanium scales. I had them on a cruwear delica but idk I missed the light weight of the frn.

Are those AWT scales cerakote ? What grit sandpaper did you use to soften the edges and give the worn look?

Love my Spydercos. Amazing knives, each and every one of them. I also do have some Wharncliffe Spydercos and although they are extremely useful, they are absolutely ugly. But great knives nevertheless.

The only spydie in currently hunting is a paysan to match the anthem.

I remember when i didn't understand why spyderco was a thing and people loved them so much....now I have 5(currently)....I do think the compression lock is super overrated though...

@@doodysdaggers I have 2, lil native wharny and sage 5...I have not tried a cme though....but the compression lock is super hyped and i just dont think it's all that great to actuate...also a native 5, manix 2, and sage 1 liner lock

Can you call them spyderco knives when you change the handles and clips? Guess you can say you like their blades.. since that is all that is left that's original😂
