I’ve been here since your beginning mate.Since the time you wore slim jeans and doc martins and “getting stuff done era”, I loved your lifestyle and work and It’s very inspiring to see you grow. You are my role model and doing a collab with you or you recognising my fashion would be one of my dream Drives.I’ll accomplish it in 5 years.

This is the first full length I've watched from you (because I'm really into shoes), usually watch the shorts, but I have to say I really dig the transparency and honesty. You seem like a down to earth, solid dude. I might have to subscribe.

Love seeing how your collection has evolved over the years! I remember when you were really much more into your sneakers. I've been trying to get more into leather, but still haven't found the right gateway shoe (except for the pair I usually wear with a suit-which are nice but just not comfortable enough). I'm still rocking my sneakers everywhere, to a fault. On a separate note: never seen you in glasses! Love the pair :)

@@Thisath100​​⁠ Seconded on DMs. Don’t think of them as just chunky lace ups anymore. So many styles and collabs other than the TM 1461. I have corduroy boots from a collab with Undercover and a Sandy/cream suede asymmetric laced collab by Engineered Garments and they collab with anyone from A Cold Wall and CDG to even Supreme and Stussy…which as you’re into your trainers/streetwear (like me) are brands you’ll already be familiar with. They really have evolved and are constantly pushing the design aesthetic.. Also for quality and value I’d suggest GH Bass for loafers. They’re the pioneers of the penny loafer, which is the design Daniel has - his Church’s Matt black pair. Seriously I have over 50 pairs of trainers, NB, Asics, Saucony, Jordans and thought I was done buying footwear but Docs and GH Bass have reignited my passion again, espec for non trainer footwear. The last pair I bought was another collab Maharishi x GH Bass pennys not cheap at £190 but all the others inc some suede snaffle loafers were all found in sales or on FB/IG. Just be sure to size down to your nearest half size. They come up big!

Daniel thank you for being very transparent about the reasons why you have so many shoes. It’s part of your line of work and it’s not the standard for the average person. Its very easy to forget this and feel the pressure of consumerism and commercialism while forgetting about quality and sustainability. Also a great reminder to be conscious of what we chose to wear and purchase for all of us fashion lovers and appreciators.

Sick collection. Can appreciate the Tabis but the idea of the split toes puts me off as an aesthetic. Where do you find the right socks lol. Minor criticism, I wish you had shown the full length pics as wanted to see the entire fits to gauge how they work as a complete ensemble. Nice video though, appreciate the transparency about gifting, credit. Also, thanks for highlighting several times that a collection this big can only be remotely justified if you work in fashion. I don’t work in fashion and my shoe collection is just as big (50+ but much heavier trainers to shoes) and now I know I have a serious issue. Lol. I go to my cobbler and put a simple black strap in the back to keep them on my feet. When you wear pants you can't even tell. I hate wearing slides where you can't even walk to the store in just socks and the shoes are by the cross walk. With this simple hack voila you can wear them on a hike. Wow

Want and need are two very funny concepts, do I need anything I own, probably not, but do I want every piece of clothing, furniture, food that I have, yes. Anything that I can afford to own, I will and that comes with zero regret or apology. This is the one life I am getting as the person I am now, I intend to enjoy it thoroughly without guilt or shame about any choice I make, just make good choices.
