I have dvds that I’ve had for 15 years that don’t work anymore,. They don’t even have any scratches on them🤷‍♂️

That's odd, they could possibly have internal disc rot.

What console are you playing them on? My xbox X plays DVDs but often they freeze or other issues. So I just use my blu ray player now and no issues. I have DVDs that are over 20 years old and they play fine. Maybe a issue at the factory? Or heat exposure?
