I normally hate it when bands "soften" their sound, but this album, the production, the vocals, the synth, it just hits that vibe so well. I had the exact same thought as you did, this album hits extra hard when driving your car late at night. I love that bands are starting to integrate more synth and shoegaze sounds into hardrock and metalcore, I am 100% all for it

3:40 yeah that's the common opinion but this album was never meant to be rocky or heavy or anything like that musically. The dude went into the studio after his dad DIED so he wasn't really feeling being super heavy or loud, ya know? This was his coping mechanism. His coping album.

I love the album. It may not be as hard as their previous ones, but the emotions kick you so hard it’s great! I love Dark Sun as a their best EDM song!! Great transition from Midnight Eternal! The vibes just screams it’s party time!!

Enjoyed the stream. I seriously love the album. Seeing them Saturday

I have become a major fan of Dayseeker. Since Neon Grave and Burial Plot, I’ve been hooked! I’m in love with Rory’s voice sooooo much! Dark Sun has been on repeat since it dropped!

Maaan when you said it's good driving music, that was my thought the whole album. If it wasn't winter I'd absolutely be out cruising at midnight just blasting this album. This is honestly my favourite non-metal album of the year, I love it so damn much. Need more of it injected into my earholes

That pause in Homesick really sets it off.

I didn’t like the album at first, but I listened to it again the day after with a different mindset and I love it now. Also it’s funny how you said it’s good driving music as I just listened to the album driving home from Uni lmao.
