Rugged extremes make an awesome shoulder strap, walk long distances with a bag full of tools, super comfortable

After all that, very good video btw, I am pleased that i do not do much industrial work. I always park the ute as close as possible. Then work out of that. Just a Bosch tool belt covers most of my needs. Anything else, i have the ute tool setup. ❤❤

Thanks for sharing your setup. This bucket seems to be very good, specially with its big outside pockets. Unfourtunately doesn't suit for me because here in Sweden we have rain and snow quite often, so I am looking for the closed solution. Now using my Raaco Compact 47 (136600).

Thanks mate. We definitely don’t have snow here. What setup have you got at the moment?

@@AddictedtoTools Right now I use Raaco Compact 47, it's Danish brand. My concept for almost 10 years was that I have with me everything I need in one bag. Including some smaller materials like screws, connectors etc. This tool box is more than a carrying case, it's a work station for me: Easy to close/open (not tight, not for havy rains ) In the bottom I have two drawers with custom compartments for the screws etc On the box I can sit, stand, use it to cut smth. Inside I have separated the main room for two parts for the shorter tools and the long ones. Plus it has the tray, the good one, I can customize it very well. However this tool box has its disadvantages as each conventional tool box: each tool doesn't have its fixed plase and from time to time it turns to be looking as a trash inside. Despite I have only tools I really use, it becomes quite heavy. Don't know how to add photos, would be easier to explain. Now I am reconsidering the concept. I want to have smth easy carry, closed, reliable, each tool has its place. Mostly just for the tools. So It can be backpack, shoulder bag or the case on the wheels, let's see. The dream one is wiha wiha xxl III 44129, but it's crazy expensive for me at he moment. Thanks for interesting topic👍

The only shortfall with open bags are people with sticky fingers….. I’m an apprentice and often have more tools then the tradesman, they are usually labour hire sparks you gotta watch out for 👀

Hey, I saw you did a video on Fujiya a while back, and I see you're a spark! Do you know if any of the Japanese brands do VDE or similarly rated insulated pliers? Sadly had my Knipex set nicked recently, have had really good experience with Fujiya/Engineer mechanical stuff but can't seem to find any insulated stuff by them. I'm a controls spark so do a ton of live work, insulated needle noses & snips are a must!

Hey mate, unfortunately a lot of their stuff isn’t 1000v insulated. The only one I know of is the 3000TPZ-225

  • @BluTrollPro

@@AddictedtoTools Oh, mate really appreciate it, I looked up the 3000TPZ & found the keyword they use for insulated is 'electrical work'. Plugged that into their website & also found the 70Z-175 side nippers and 1050Z-XXX pliers. Seems blue handles might signify their insulated grips. Will definitely check with at least my 415v continuity tester!

@@AddictedtoTools Well, got a little carried away, 3000Z-225 & 70Z-175 ordered. Also ordered an Engineer PAW-21 mini stripper since I want to see how it measures up to my Knipex Ergostrip. And a Fujiya 130-200 water pump plier to see how they compare to Cobras... and a Supertool MRWN30 ratcheting shifter, since I saw a video of it recently & it looked really neat. Hell if I'm going to pay £40 shipping from Japan I may aswell make it worth my while. I reckon for needle noses I'm going to give Klein a try with their 187mm VDE, they're so bloody pricy here though. (Knipex 200mm vde are £35, Klein is £50). Edit: been watching some more of your videos, definitely got a sub from me!
