I love it so much that I have ordered your second one - in the garden - can’t wait. /everything you do is easy to follow but I did struggle with the peony but believe the poppies are my go-to flower from now on. Thank you, Camilla. I have been struggling with line and wash. This helped so much. It was the detail lines that I was getting wrong. Other’s that I was trying to learn from were doing layer on top of layer, overworking! The tiny detail lines were enough! I love my results, and even tried adding the detail lines on a piece that I didn’t like. It was an improvement. I’ll be ordering your book tonight!

Haha I love that! Roses are actually a pretty difficult flower so well done having it as a Go-to flower!

This is just lovely. So fresh and spontaneous. I think nasturtiums are wonderful to paint - for their variety of warm colours, beautiful shapes of both flowers and leaves and 'windy' stems.

Poppies are mine too! I live where there is a very large botanical garden and they have blue poppies that I go to see every year. Haven’t had the confidence to paint them yet. Ginkgos are my go-to leaf.

I love your watercolor book!

Really like the poppies. Have no problem drawing them, but I need to practice the watercolor aspect... My colors seem flat. I don't get a nice dark center, and lighter towards outside of the petal. So my flowers seem flat.

Try dripping in more saturated color close to the center when the water starts to dry. That way it wont spread to the entire petal.
