Finally a young KZreadr with a dream house video of a house that actually looks like a normal starter home, or just what is a typical single family house. Absolutely Agree. Alot of privileged young adults acting like they worked so hard to get it but didn't. This video is the reality and shows how you can take pride in a standard home and make it look just as beautiful. Less is more!

Your house is so beautiful! My dream home would be a little storybook looking cottage and your house gives me those vibes. You should be so proud- bringing this house back to life like this! It looks classic, young and happy. P.S. The designer in me is so happy the walkway will now meet the edge of your front stoop 😆 Keep up the good work!

Just stating this because I want you to be safe, take those security signs down. alarm systems esp wireless ones can be easily defeated when you know what you're working with. Instead of the one you actually have advertise another company like adt or something so you have the deterrent without giving away any vulnerabilities. You can buy adt stickers and yard signs online for fairly cheap. The walkway looks sooooo much better, glad you decided to fix it and the house is coming along great overall, congrats.

You remind me of myself at 23 when I bought my first house. I'm such a domestic woman and I loved working on that house. I did too much to it to list here but after 8 years of working on it I sold it to get married and made almost 40,000 on it. Doing what you live brings so much joy and fulfillment. I think your doing a great job !

This was so nice, and inspiring, I'm 28 and just bought my first house last month and I'm so excited to get on the outside work, I have beautiful landscaping ideas and this is a huge yard. I can't wait to paint some things. I have plant holders in front of my windows too.

Painter’s tip: make a spout out of your tape and you won’t have paint down the pouring side of can :) Looks nice!

Bravo and very lovely touches! Terrific before/after. Don't forget to clean the random grass from between the bricks on your landing. And if you want to consider adding a trellis to your ground planter box (to the right of the door) you could go without the right plant pot. Instead add that and another topiary to flank your carport. Just a suggestion or idea! The black and white theme is lovely, indeed. Timeless yet modern. 👍🏼👍🏼

I'm so glad you changed the walkway. I would have picked a darker grey for the shutters for more contrast, but it sounds like you got what you wanted, so it's all good. I love that you picked the pink door. You can always throw in a little more color in your beds with some annuals or bulbs, that would be super cute!
