It's both of them at fault. They should have asked for documents (via mobile now) to prove neither of them had HIV/AIDS *AND* wore protection. I always do to *ANY* women I plan on dates whether it's casual or serious. If I don't get them or she feels disrespected because of that, she's gone no discussion needed. Women lately wants to go raw despite reasonings. Remember it's a lot easier for women to get sex than men.

I've always said this and thought this. Why don't people even if it's just a casual hook up, tell people to get tested!! And show the results to each other. disease doesn't come from casually, dating it comes from casual screwing.

Back in the 1990s, there was a beautiful woman named Rae Lewis-Thornton. She made the cover of Essence magazine. She had a rising political career until she contracted HIV and from that diagnosis she was thrown into poverty and had to deal with being sick all the time. The woman in this video reminds me of Mrs. Thornton. Ms. Thornton (like the woman in the video), talked about how the man who she contracted HIV from was good looking, wore expensive suits and drove a nice car. It's really unfortunate but women will do anything and suspend all rules for men who they believe have money or look successful. All the rules they have for most men they will suspend them for a rich man. She said the man in Newport Beach Ca was responsible but if he's having unprotected sex with random women off a app that is far from anything responsible these days. The women in the video is lucky she didn't catch anything incurable. That said, using condoms and going to the clinic to get tested should be bare minimum these days.

She did catch an incurable disease. STDs is different than STIs (sexual transmitted infections). STIs are like gonorrhea and Chlamydia. She probably contracted HSV. And now has decided she wants to be monogamous due to that fact. If it was an STI that she caught, she wouldn't say STD. And also probably wouldn't bring it up because she would have gotten treatment.

Agreed providing it’s a real marriage🤷🏾‍♀️ Marriage and whether or not you contract an STD unfortunately is no guarantee. Once married you should be able to be vulnerable with your partner but in most cases it’s just not the reality. I’ve been a nurse for years and can’t tell you the number of women that came into the hospital married with HIV and everything else🤦🏾‍♀️ “Marriage is just a word if one/both persons aren’t respecting their vows.

I don’t agree with you. It’s not weird to tell people you are looking for a serious relationship, it doesn’t mean you want to be in a serious relationship with THEM (per se) it’s just saying “if this goes according to plan I want to be in a monogamous relationship and not a situationship. I think women should state what they’re looking for upfront. Or hold it to themselves and see what the guy is looking for. Because we all know men will be whatever you need them to be to sleep with you.

I’d love to see folks have a little more empathy. As judgmental as people are, you’d think they didn’t have a past themselves. I’d like to clarify that I’ve never been for the streets. Thank God, my mom instilled morals and self-respect at a very early age. But I also understand that not everyone’s had that blessing, some grew up with fast moms and think that’s the norm. Everyone has their reasons. She stated that she didn’t set boundaries due to her low self-esteem. So although the behavior was unacceptable, there was a serious underlying issue at the root of it. I’m thankful to the Lord that she snapped out of it and now understands, even if it’s “late” in some eyes. Just because you did wrong before doesn’t mean you can’t rectify it now, at any age!
