Hello,
I hope you are keeping well.
In today’s video, I show you how to make a 3-drawer desk, designed for a craft room, with 3 pretty storage baskets. During the tutorial, I’ll show you how to make this desk narrower, or wider, if you have a particular space you need to fill as I did with mine.
I really hope you’ll enjoy this tutorial. If you do enjoy making dolls house furniture and miniatures, I think you’ll love my books; I’ve published 5 so far and they’re all available to purchase from Amazon - just search for Julie Warren.
If you enjoy my videos here on KZread and would like to see more, you might like to join me on Patreon, which is a paid membership platform, where you’ll find more great videos! You’ll find all the details here: / littlebitsandpiecesbyj...
Thank you for watching and I’ll see you again soon,
Happy Miniaturing!
Julie. xx

Your pieces always fit together so perfectly. It seems that mine always need some adjusting to make them work. I am jus starting out in this hobby, but I hope I can acquire at least a little of your perfection. Your videos are a joy to watch.

Thank you so much Nancy. Just keep going and you will get there in the end. By the way, I also have to make adjustments occasionally to get pieces to fit correctly! :)

Every time I hear you do measurements in Imperial I will never understand why we don't use the metric system. Seriously, there's no way I could find 45/64ths on a ruler, even with magnifying glasses. It's crazy! Thank you for giving both measurements, but for stuff like this, I think I will use metric. heh

I always think the same thing. I even wondered if there were special rulers that showed those measurements...

I find the imperial system quite difficult, too, and would always advise using metric. The steel rules I sell in my Etsy shop show both metric and imperial, which is a good way to transition to metric for people who are more used to Imperial. :)

Good morning Julie. Thank you for your video tutorials. I have a situation however... recently I am unable to get audio on your videos. Do you have any ideas as to why please? I don't see this from anyone else in the comments so it must be something i've accidentally altered somehow

Help! I want to purchase your first book and then the others. Amazon kindle doesn't have it anymore. Can you tell me where I may purchase it. Your videos beside being educational are so pleasant and your voice is beautiful! In these days it's so nice to slow down and enjoy the video. If I would be able to purchase your books, I would be so happy.

The book didn't work very well on Kindle, so all 5 of them are now available as paperbacks from Amazon. Just search for Julie Warren and they'll all appear! :)
