Hey Lukho... I’m glad you’ve found my videos so helpful. They have but not it doesn’t happen too often. It’s happened twice where they’ve touched my hair. The picture taking happens more often but it’s still not too much of a concern. For the most you get used to it. You have to learn to live with it.

Hey Zadina... I actually live in a one bedroom apartment. I was lucky enough to meet a girl from Cameroon who does hair and she’s being doing my hair. I think you should have a look at Guangzhou and apply at the training centers that are there. This is because it’s growing pretty fast and has quite a large African community.

Hey Raisibe... I live in Changsha which is in Hunan province. I packed essentials hey nothing more than that since I didn’t want too much luggage and I knew that I was going to be able to find some items once I got here. So mainly clothing, bedding, medication.

Hey Robin 👋🏽. So in that last video I said that I had to find my own accommodation and pay my own deposit and three month rent in order to secure the apartment. My school does provide a monthly rent allowance thereafter. Generally if they provide your accommodation they do not let you pick it yourself.

Hahaha not brave hun... I’d been at home for eight months and needed to do something. When the opportunity came I knew it was the one. I’d wanted to come to China since forever so I took the risk. I think the fear kicked in once I got here and realized how different my life would be.

Hey Lindi... as far as I know even the places which weren’t as strict before are now introducing new laws. I have heard that this acceptable in China once but today we are seeing less and less teachers without degrees. I would advise against applying with just a diploma as this is a huge risk and not worth the reward.
