What I can remember about the last time I flew Delta - a little over 50 years ago: Airports were smaller, there was no TSA and flying was actually a pleasant uncomplicated experience including large seats and plenty of leg room. Completing two weeks leave from the army I boarded my early morning flight to - I can't remember where. (Not in uniform as back then military was often not treated too well by the public.) Sitting in coach I was served steak and eggs for breakfast. Meals, snacks, drinks, headphones etc were all at no extra cost. (Downside was that at least half the people on the aircraft smoked.) My flight arrived in "can't remember" very late and I had to board another flight to my destination. New to flying and unfamiliar with airports, as I exited the jetway I spied a young man (older than me) sitting on an electric cart. I desperately, but politely, asked where I could find "this" gate as a showed him my boarding pass. His response? "Hop on. I'll take you there." We flew through the corridors and I got to my gate with about two minutes to spare. Offering my thanks, I hustled through the gate to enjoy the pleasant remainder of my trip back to base. Be glad it wasn't raining in Dallas. The slightest sprinkle there tends to cancel flights.... I know.

Hey Adam, I had seen when you arrived at the airport and you were a little surprised you didn’t see your flight on the departure monitors (4:40) you seemed a little worried. It’s because you had arrived at the airport so many hours before your flight and they just post the upcoming departures within the 2-3 hours of the current time. As time went on you had noticed your flight posted on the screen. No worries. You also can just text to yourself on your phone your airline and flight number. That will give you all your information you will need. Keep up the great videos bud. Very enjoyable.

I had my Global Entry interview at MCO airport earlier this year. There were a bunch of open interview timeslots available at MCO when I was looking. All the other locations were not available for interviews or had slots available months and months away. Good luck!

Yes Global Entry includes TSA Precheck....but it can take a bit to get a interview for Global Entry interview....sometimes months. You can get interviews at MCO or Sanford airports. Fun Fact: DFW International used to have a People Mover. It's been many decades since it was removed and replaced. If you look closely, you can still find remnants of the road/tracks it used to travel. It consisted of autonomous busses that ran along a concrete track around the entire airport. It could take passengers from their parking directly to their gates (pre-TSA days). The system was multi-use with cars that were dedicated to transporting containers etc. Those cars would open only on the right, whereas cars for people only opened on the left. It was the first people moving system built at an airport in the US, and lead many other airports to build similar transportation to get people around their airports faster. DFW's people mover was doomed from the beginning. in hot Texas heat, the cars were not air conditioned, they broke down frequently, and the tires needed changing often. Much of the track is gone, including the old maintenance facility. DART built a station where the people mover used to travel underneath the North East most terminal. Other random facts about DFW International. There are 5 family cemeteries on property. Access requires proof that visits are family members of the deceased. The airport is so large, Texas gave it its own zip code.

I'm excited to see you go global! so many new adventures await... but maybe someday you can come up to regular ol' PA... lots of long time fans here in Erie & lots of interesting historical locations to check out. been watching since 2006 & will never stop!
I grew up in Arlington. I was a Six Flags pass holder for years. Lots of fun memories your video brought back for me. Stay safe ❤️
I always enjoy your videos, Adam. Greetings from Australia.
welcome back to Florida Adam

Good thing you decided to wait another day to fly back..I flew into Dallas the previous day missed my connecting flight due to the delays..was stuck in Dallas for 17hrs.
I got two feet on the ground, but, that delta pilot to Orlando really made me feel safe flying with him 😊
Happy Wednesday Adam! Welcome back to a slightly cooler central Florida!

You are BACK, Jack! I like that cam-quick-turn thing - might be an upgrade or update to your filming style 🙂
TSA PreCheck, TSA PreCheck, TSA PreCheck! ... btw, did i mention TSA PreCheck? ... itʻs so worth it. Youʻve had all kinds of experiences with airlines in the past but the anxiety in your voice at your connecting flight was palpable. Just glad you made it home safely.
Top of the morning to ya Adam !!
ATW in DFW … glad you came to our home state (town) brother. Hope she treated you right! Be well bud!
I made it all the way to the end. Sipped my morning tea the whole time. Was a relaxing hangout video. That Coca-Cola display was awesome. I forgot about Coke II. Now that I saw this, I vaguely remember it. I think. I was 11 in 1989 and was obsessed with Coke, so I'm sure we had it. Thanks for sharing, Adam.
I had my Global Entry interview at MCO airport earlier this year. There were a bunch of open interview timeslots available at MCO when I was looking. All the other locations were not available for interviews or had slots available months and months away. I understand that there is an app that you can use to automatically monitor when interview slots open up. The interview itself took less than 5 minutes. It was easy. You will love Global Entry. Good luck!
Always interesting Adam! I hope your world travels next year get you to 1M subs!
We've had Global Entry for years, but we didn't actually use it until last year coming back from Korea. We just walked straight through the customs area. It's amazing. As far as Pre Check goes, the best part is not having to take off your shoes, take out electronics, etc.
The interview usnt taxing you can either book an appointment at orlando, or do it on Enrollment on Arrival at the customs booths, show passport, second proof I.e, driving licence and that's ut as you are already conditionally approved
When we schedule connecting flights we have learned to choose longer layovers to allow for any delays on the first flight however saying that American has cancelled our connecting flight even before our first flight took off lol. But that only happened with American & once we haven’t had any issues with other airlines that we fly 😊 What a cool view when you were in between cloud layers on your decent into Orlando! And thank you for sharing Texas with us & the club lounges at the airport! 😀
I find the sound of the plane engines so relaxing, I could sleep after take off. Take off always feels weird and makes me a little anxious? The sky looked awesome!
Really nice shots of takeoff roll and then approach and landing at ATL!
In my experience, Delta is superior to other airlines. Glad you had a good trip.
Safe travels!
The shot of the clouds during the second airplane was amazing.
Great cliffhanger ending!
The art work on the wall at the airport caught my eye. The Princess Theater photo was from Harriman, Tennessee.
I love DFW ! It’s a nice airport, my works out there at AA , he loves it too. You’ve inspired me to hop on a plane and go to a game , I would love to go see both fields … FYI yesterday we had service outages, phone and cable I guess Wi-Fi interrupted from noon till 8 pm National wide , I guess that effected flights ❤fromSATX

I personally think that it is the best airport layout in the WORLD! If you know how to get around, you can literally get from any two points in the airport in less than 15 minutes!
Delta seemed like a better flight experience than American. At least the pilot let you know what was going on. I think you should stick with them more often. I'm glad they let you on the plane. I hope the tow truck didn't tow your car.
I do enjoy watching your travel day vlogs. Glad Delta seems to be a better expeience. A co-worker that does lots of air time swears by Delta. Rest up you did sound very tired in that last segment. 😊
You didn't buy a camera, you bought a Star Wars Toy!
Those cloud shots are cool 🛫

“Is my car still here?” 😂
Yes Global Entry includes TSA Precheck....but it can take a bit to get a interview for Global Entry interview....sometimes months. You can get interviews at MCO or Sanford airports. The interview is just fingerprints and a photo. If you are returning from overseas you can just show up and get a interview. Your Delta card pays for Global Entry or TSA Precheck.
I can’t wait to see you come to St Louis to watch the Rays take on the Cardinals. I love that you’re trying to get to all major league stadiums. I know I’m biased but Busch Stadium is a pretty beautiful ballpark.

Adam, why not just get a non-stop flight? I'm confused.
The “Tarmac/Beetlejuice/wide eyes/tow truck” ending 😆🫶
Thanks for flying Delta, you made the right choice.
I’ll take barely missing a connecting flight over an extreme delayed or canceled flight anytime. Delta still the way to go 👍🏻
another good vlog with your dji, just bought one myself to see if the hipe is correct. (thanks for the idea)
Tip: Try to schedule your global entry interview at an international airport ON a holiday! The interview waits are pretty long but I got my interview in about a month because I found an open slot at LAX on thanksgiving day a few years back 😉
TSA pre check so easy to get, I’m sure you can do it right at MCO. I did mine at John Wayne - Santa Ana
Wow breathtaking views of the clouds from Atlanta to Orlando especially of another plane off in the distance at cruising altitude. I can definitely see a quality difference with the new camera and the sound effects when is spins around are impressive 😂.
Adam is the Traveling 🧳 Man! Flying all over the 🌎👍🏻
That picture in the lounge Princess Theater is from my hometown Harriman, TN Small town about 90 miles west of Gatlinburg. I saw Star Wars and Jaws in that theater as a kid. Thanks for that memory.
I seen you in a Papa Meat video today he used a pic of you lookin at Robert the doll!! lol 🤘
There are so many Atlanta-Orlando flights, you could book a longer layover and not have to hustle. There’s always a short connection option because there are so many flights between Atlanta and Orlando
Geoffrey. I knew TRU was in Macys now but this may be a come back. That would be awesome. Some locations are still sitting empty all these years later.
Global entry tip - it will take FOREVER to get an interview, but if you sign up and get on the 'wait list' you can do your interview, in person right when you arrive back into the US. My wife just did that exact thing

Good advice. I have heard this from other travelers, to do your interview upon flight arrival back in USA.
Coffee helps. Welcome home!!
I've never been to the Centurion Club, surprised how it was busier than the Delta Sky Club. I'm a bit surprised that Delta doesn't have a direct flight between Orlando and Texas, and have to connect to Atlanta.
AA sux. The last 2 years I have had nothing but horrible service from them. I even rode first class with them last year in April as a luxury to myself. I did my first WDW trip by myself ☺️. It was horrible (AA) I’m going to try Delta myself. Thanks for the input Adam 👍🏼love your vlogs
Adam I had a great flight experience with delta airlines and you can ask the pilots for a trading cards on delta airlines it’s fun to do that
I can't get over the new camera, the quality is great!!!
The delta reserve card he uses to get lounge access has a $650 annual fee. I would say to most people it's not really worth it unless you fly at least once a month at a minimum to get the full benefits out of that fee to justify that expense. Thanks for the videos Adam and keep up the great work.
