Kim Soo Hyun didn’t win bcz Nam Goong Min played a more diverse and difficult character with action, politics (he spoke like 3 languages!) and the way he made every scene emotional was insane! I’m not the judge but the judges obviously picked the best actor so there is no confusion.😊

All Kim Soo Hyun does is to cry his heart out in that drama.. Which is not complicated at all. Nam Goong Min needs to fight with swords, arrows and a China princess to save his lady love and his countrymen.

I tend to agree. I started out disliking her as she reminded me of an empty headed Scarlett OHara, but by ep. 4 she had become my hero and I loved her yet more and more as the drama progressed. I do wish he had thought to give her some props.

@@lauriemcclain5605 I loved Ahn Eun-jin from the very first scene 🤭 when she talks to the bird and when her spool of thread 🧵 flies through the lands and seasons and she follows it. What a start with this incredible scene. I was moved to tears as one can be in a play or in a music concert sometimes. I knew we were dealing with a masterpiece : story, music, staging, photography, artists like Ahn Eun-jin very theatrical in fact since she comes from there and musicals. She sings wonderfully ! I am inexhaustible with her and I have searched and watched all her works. So she plays perfectly as everyone hates her in the first episodes and eventually adores her afterwards and with Min Nam-koong it was pure magic for the audience. We couldn’t have asked for a better casting. And of course she was my favorite in the nominations for the best actress but congratulates Lee Hanee for her award.

It's because he keeps winning awards for this. He cut his speech short. I think he felt bad she didn't win. They got very close doing this drama. He won the grand prize for this at MBC awards and he talks about her a lot in his speech. It's on KZread. Watch it, it's a great speech and you can see how much he appreciates her performance. She also wins best actress at MBC awards and they also won best couple.

His performance in My dearest was incredible and the range !! People hear crying about queen of tears. I was exited to watch it after all the hype but the story was a joke. The two leads are great actors and they deserved better than that show. 😂😂 I mean I am not even surprised when you have people claiming My demon is best drama. What a joke😂😂

I am really tired to ear about this actor 🙄 Queen of Tears is far to be an amazing drama, it's for young people like My demon, etc... always the same acting and for me it was so boring to watch. Actors are just good looking and young. "It's ok to not be ok" was good but today his last drama is far from perfect and interesting, that's what I think. Watch My dearest and you will understand why there are so many people behind Min Nam-koong and Ahn Eun-jin. This drama won the award for best drama and best actor, it's a masterpiece. It's about acting, not just beauty and popularity. It is giving life to a complex, human character, with nuances and depth. It is about the actor disappearing as himself and we see another person in his body. Namgoong Min was extraordinary at that.

What you probably don’t know is that while the drama was playing the two main characters made many television shows and also on the internet because My dearest had more and more audience. So this actor must have been talking about this drama for months. After all this time we can understand very well that he does not want to dwell on the subject, especially since he must be on other shoots and the director who won the award for best drama talked about it. And watching My dearest for nearly 4 months I had the impression of being in the theater because the writing of this drama had a high level and superbly well played by the whole team of artists in particular the main characters I adore, where there was a harmony between them perfect. "Au diapason" like we say in France ! It’s rare. Min Nam-koong is an artist, a real one, you will understand what I mean one day. I watched k-dramas for a very long time now and dramas like My dearest are masterpieces that are part of art history and will not be forgotten by the public.

If by beauty you mean having an idol style, with a baby face and very tall, no, he does not fit that definition of beauty. Plus, that's so subjective.
