I’ve followed and watched Shane for probably 13 years now. He’s been a huge part of my life in an odd parasocial way. The amount of times I’ve been depressed in bed and watched his videos to just ease my pain have been countless. I wish he knew how much he helps people and how so many love him.

I genuinely think there are things in everyone's life whether it be past or present that they wouldn't be proud of if brought up in a public setting, I don't care how much you've been online, public shaming is still hard to deal with on a human level. I still feel the shame of reacting negatively to someone online because they kept picking at me and a personal relationship I have and how it triggered years of being harassed by them, but I know now that I'm no less worthy of love and good things in my life like they were trying to convince me of-- if anything it showed how insecure with their life they were to go out of the way to "hold me accountable" to basically standing up to them. I don't believe in shaming people to become better, and I think when people are obsessed over how you're "manipulative" and don't act the way they want you to, they just give life to all the narrative they are personally trying to create towards that person. People all have their faults, you can feel empathetic towards them and how it affected others, and how it came across, but don't apologize for being yourself and how you survived situations. The most important thing you can do is how you're moving forward, and you're doing great. If people are gonna have a certain perception of you, the most freeing thing you can do for yourself is just to let them and hold on to the true people that are there for you and encourage your growth. It's been a true gift to see you become more comfortable here after everything, I genuinely wish you happiness.

I have yet to listen to a lot of Jojo’s stuff (working on it) but I watch her on snap chat and she is such a wonderful, motivational person. Also Shane, if you haven’t heard it enough from your fans, we freaking love you and your family. I don’t care about the past, I just love getting to see you and your family’s life, and feel like you’re my distant friends. Thank you for sharing your lives, ups and downs and fun moments with us. It truly is a gift, especially on days when I am spiraling and have a hard time climbing out of the hole my mind won’t stop digging. You are loved, you matter, you are wonderful exactly how you are. I know it’s hard to feel that some days, but remember, we all love you ❤️
