my day off turned into a two-day cheese cracker recipe situation

Ойын-сауық

Perfecting a homemade cheese cracker recipe was not the original goal for today, but as most of the fun activities I try to enjoy ‘casually,’ I ended up taking it much further than I had anticipated…or really wanted, to be honest.
I decided to challenge myself by testing three different recipes: one generated by AI, one found on a food blog, and one that I created myself after a bit of trial and error.
Join me as I experiment with these recipes, share my thoughts, and discover which one comes out on top! This isn't a typical instructional recipe video so I apologize in advance to anyone that's actually proficient in the art of homemade ANYTHING - this was definitely more about the journey and the fun of experimenting. 💀😂

Hey elyse❤️ I’m 15 years old and have always had alot of anxiety. But last fall my life fell apart, i didn’t wanna wale up in the morning and i never ate enough food. This year i’m getting better and better as the weeks go by but i still have some bad days.. Which is ok! But i never tell myself that, and even if I feel proud of myself really deep down my brain doesn’t believe it because I tell myself that it’s not enough. ANYWAY that’s not important but all i wanted to say is that for the past few months I’ve watched your videos to the point where i know exactly what you’re saying🤭 But just know that i love you so so much and i started crying when I saw you posted❤️ I can’t describe how much you’ve helped me through hard times❤️

I wish so deeply that I could open up my brain and show you who I was at 15 and everything I struggled with. I would wake up and be sick to my stomach and think it was just normal to be sick with nausea in the morning until I realized all of my friends were completely fine and didn’t want to throw up the moment the woke up on the mornings. I’ve always felt like I’m in a battle against my own mind and I’ve been lucky enough to have just enough extra mental energy to surround myself with the right people to help me win those fights against myself. I am so proud of you, and I believe in you. Take everything one single day at a time. I’m 30 and I look back on my 15 year old self with so much compassion and love because she got me to 30. I can’t believe it sometimes but I made it all the way to 30 and I’m going to keep going. You’re doing great. You aren’t alone. You’ve got this! ♥️❤️‍🩹

Girl. You are one of the few people that I can sit and watch your videos through. There is a short list. Thank you for being you. The amount of times I laughed out loud BECAUSE I was like, “that’s me!” Thank you for being here.

I just recorded a review of all the books I read in May! It had way more to say than I anticipated so I thought maybe I could get it out by the end of the day but I think it’ll take the weekend to edit down 😂😂 but I think I’ll have it up by Monday or Tuesday at the latest! I shared the best and worst books I read last month and my entire rating scale for how I judge books (It goes more in depth than I have any business actually going for a normal average reader but oh well LOL)

Making Cheez-its sounds really fun! My grandma taught me that the big spoons are tablespoons and the little ones are teaspoons so you can substitute them if you don't have measuring cups. Idk if that's actually true, but it's worked for me so far.

I just can't stop grinning watching videos from you! Chaotic Adorable! Lol And you got it mostly right, bees store pollen as their protein source, and then eat it to be able to feed the baby bee larvae after processing it. Then they also collect nectar which gets processed into honey.

My hubby and I love watching your videos to decompress at the end of the day. I know you didn't ask for advice, but I just can't stand the thought of you suffering, so I'm here to recommend wearing an N95 in public - it'll both stop you getting sick all of the time but it helps tremendously with pollen! My husband used to have to stay inside, and I had to do the yard work on my own until he started wearing a mask outside, and it helped 100%! We used to care how we looked to others but got over that pretty quickly lol our health is more important than what others think lol

Love watching your videos and always look forward to the next one! Here’s a tip from a fellow cheez-it maker : roll the dough out in a pasta maker! Makes the crackers super thin and it’s not as much work as a rolling pin! Fresh grated cheese also works better because it doesn’t have the starch they add to keep the cheese from sticking together ☺️
