I’ve had my period for 2 years and I always get so excited when people do roleplays where someone gets their first period because I know that it’s helping someone who hasn’t got their period feel better about having it. For all the menstruators or to be menstruators, I promise you you are not to only person going through this and being able to talk to someone about it is the best thing to learn

Akeila i absolutely adore that you incorporate relationships, divorces, death, periods, and puberty into your role plays! It shows young girls and boys that this stuff is normal and it’s okay to talk about it! Love you for that akeila!

I’m glad people are doing things like this,it’s a natural part of life like I don’t get why people don’t talk about it as often. I’ve had my period once before and I am kida late for 2 months I’ve only just got it again yesterday and I’ve had no cramps so far I don’t want to jinx it but for people who have really bad cramps I’m sorry but it won’t last for long so you don’t have to worry❤ and periods are just a sign of growing up❤ so it’s normal. I’m literally so happy that Akelia made this video! Little kids and just pre teens need to know it’s okay to have periods! It’s literally completely normal! And no kid or preteen should feel weird about it! I mean to boys it may be weird…. But let’s be honest, to the girls who know we don’t really give a crap about boys anymore and what they think- some we do- but we’ve all learned from elementary and middle school most boys our idiots…. Periods are normal things for girls to have.They can have that at different ages so usually worry if your friends are others get it before you.Don’t make yourself feel like your ‘weird’ or anything because its just a normal,natural thing.If your not sure what to do make sure u always ask another girl or woman abt it because its better to ask someone who has experienced it.Stay safe!

I'm glad you posted about this! I got my period at 10 and I used pads until I was 13 and I tried tampons and that's what I prefer to use now. I wanna try to use other products someday also like menstrual cups or period underwear since I've heard they are great!
