I went with a high undercut yesterday number 1 all around. My boyfriend is going to shave my curly hair off for my birthday. He was the one to suggest it. I will make a video when he does and be sure to post

That was a major makeover for her. Looks like with a style like that she will need frequent trims to maintain it. Hopefully her mom realizes that now that her hair has been chopped short and her nape buzzed.

I had some medical issues last year and my hair was falling out. I got some clippers and had my Gson chop off most of my hair and kept it that way for about 6 months... I had about 1/2 left when he was done. I hated it at first and then grew to love it. It was so freeing. My hair is growing back now but it is short...more like a medium pixie. I think I am going to keep it this way. I'm 60 and don't have any grey hair so I'M thinking about doing some cool colors for a while. Who knows...I may color it for the rest of my life...I will be the cool great-great Gma with the light purple hair LOL

What kind of mother does this? A few inches off the long hair and shaping up would have been enough. The girl didn't cry but sure she was thinking how much she hated her mom for having the bottom shaved and the test of the hair short. How embarrassing for the girl. The mom was smug, kind of like she was enjoying it.😢

Back in like 77 a girl I secretely had a crush on got caught by her parents smoking weed, she came to school the next week with one of those very short Toni Tennelle haircuts popular with older women at the time. She had long sun kissed hair. She was devastated I was crazy turned on by it, we chatted for quite a bit after that I even asked her out on a couple of dates she hated that haircut and her parents for forcing her ended up turning into a complete stoner chick.

Even the suggestion of a back story makes it much more interesting. I do wish I knew the real stories, but it's just not possible since it's the other end of the world

It wasn't her choice. Her mother forced her into it because they are paid to make these video's of girls going from long hair to short or shaved. There are people out there with hair/haircut fetishes and these people film them and put them on You Tube and Tik Tok. They are making a fortune off the poor in the Philippines. I think it's a disgusting practice and is abusive and taking advantage of poor, unknowing people. I read an article a few months ago about this practice. Shameful. I feel bad for the girls forced into this.

She didn't want it. Over in these Asian countries, they pay people to make these videos. The girls mother forced her into this for the money. They make these videos and put them on You Tube and Tik Tok for people with hair/haircut fetishes. I read an article about it a few months ago.

If she was forced into the haircut why is she smiling? She would be crying if forced, or certainly unhappy, If she is 16 years old or near that age, she probably wanted to be a modern girl and that haircut is far more modern than the archaic hairstyle she had before
