My Daily Speed Cleaning Routine and My Cleaning Must Haves

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I call my Daily Speed Cleaning Routine my "Dirty 30" because it takes only 30 minutes to speed clean my home. Somedays I do more than others, but my basic daily cleaning routine always remains the same.
This daily routine is all about maintenance. Doing this speed cleaning daily means my home never gets really messy or really dirty. If you want to download your free copy of my "Dirty 30" speed cleaning routine, you can get your copy here: clutterbug.me/2017/04/dirty-3...

I had my gallbladder out at the age of 19 and eventually was able to eat anything. I was told the common bile duct takes over for the missing gallbladder. That being said at the age of 56 I made the decision to give up sugar and the white stuff in order to lose 65 pounds and have kept it off for the last 3 years.

Yes indeed!! 😉👍❤️ The white stuff, sugar, flour and too much salt, are the biggest culprits in nutrition in the first world!! Lean meats and healthy fats, like grass fed butter our bodies need. Also selected vegetables, like tomatoes no seeds, no skins and ZERO vegetable oils, (which is in practically EVERYTHING packaged plus sugar!!!!) only extra virgin olive oil is good!! Dairy and cheeses are ideal fresh from the farm but the governments made fewer and fewer small farms go out of business!! Getting your milk from the milkman was a good thing!! 😉👍❤️❤️

As a nurse, I will say that eventually you can eat most anything you could eat before your gall bladder removal. Your body just has to go through a time of healing, and you are also probably still healing from your weight loss surgery. Give yourself some time and grace. You've got this!! You look fabulous, by the way. :)

I have not been able to eat pizza. I can eat treats but I can't eat as much of them as I used to which is probably a good thing. My body craves salad and fruits now more than ever before. I think just as you say your kids ease into making their beds easing into liking vegetables is the mindset you need to work on. You're not positive about it the way you are with the things you teach us. I stopped eating meat it was difficult but now I know for a fact I will never go back. I'm easing into eating more vegetables myself. I'm just taking tiny baby steps lol

I live alone but even I need more then 2 30 mins to do the whole place. I've started doing dishes at night to dry overnight and put away in the morning. This is either every day or two days. This is because I'm doing a lot of cooking so pots or pans every day. Or storage from food taken from the freezer to reheat. What I have done is set up a schedule that has vacuum, dusting and mopping done on a different day. Then all room are divided into one weekday each. ( Leaving weekends free). This helps if something comes up or I fall behind. But as I've already cleaned floors and dusted then it's just tidy up, take out things that don't belong and any extra cleaning. This works for me.

Sadly we can’t eat a lot of the tasty tidbits that are not so good for us anyway.. it stinks but we can still have lots of fruits and veggies.. I try to think of it as a helper to keep me healthy.. if someone else knows of any “tasty tidbits” we can still enjoy in moderation, please share it on your channel.. otherwise.. stay safe and remember that you look great and you are healthy now! 🙏🏻😇

Had the gallbladder surgery. Took a while but I can eat most things. Fried/greasy foods can affect me right away. I only learned the issues bad foods cause immediately from a nurse at a completely separate, non-tummy issue dr. visit. She’d had her gallbladder removed too and told me how certain food affected her. My own dr. hadn’t told me the lowdown. God bless nurses! They are the heroes!

Almost all the folks we know who had weight loss surgery have had some hard times when it came to trying to eat every day. They seemed to do okay for the first few months and then something seemed to click inside, and they.... almost ALL...started gaining weight again. They would eat until they got sick... but their bodies would seem to adjust to the food. All have lost the gained weight, or most of it, after a year or so....but it was no easy thing for any of them to adjust to the new food regime they had to follow. Two of our best friends had the surgery. We thought he would not end well for a couple of years but he seems to have leveled out now. She didn't lose as much as she thought she would in the beginning.... but she seems to have gotten it together quicker than he. I wish you all the good luck I can.... But...you do look spectacular!!!

I can eat whatever I want (including chocolate - Galaxy is my favourite!) and was told to eat little and often rather than three large meals in a day since you need to stop the bike building up in your stomach between meals. That means smaller meals but snacks of some kind or other every couple of hours. I should be healthy eating but am not, and yet I haven't had any problems since the surgery. Don't stop eating what you love! Just be careful how much you eat and when. 😁👍

Appreciate what you do have and what you can eat, not what you can't have, and those feelings will go away eventually. It really depends on your focus, doesn't it? That's what I find anyway. I switched to a WFPB way of eating a few years ago and that's how I started out, just looking to what kinds of foods I could enjoy, instead of what i was not having and it made all the difference.

I feel like everything gets left behind when I’m decluttering. I lost my need for Mars bars etc so I’m not sure how to help with your dilemma, I eat a WFPB diet so no dairy, I do occasionally by vegan chocolate though 😊 it really helped me with my food addiction problem that I didn’t know I had until I tried to quit 😬

Oh my word, I'm addicted to chocolate 🍫 n chai too! Sometimes I think a hot Chai is my #1 comfort food. They do have chai recipes w artificial sweetners n keto style, but I haven't tried them yet. Gonna get a tidy tote this weekend, I really need one!

My dad had gallbladder surgery the day after Christmas in 2014. Mom and I celebrated the New Year with him in his hospital room and took coquito (puerto rican concoction w/ rum). He had a shot and had to run to the bathroom. His diet is normal since the surgery and he LOVES sweets so I don't think you've much to worry about.

This is so satisfying to watch🤤 I LOVED watching it (multiple times!). I don’t foresee myself being able to do all that in 30min tho😱 I’m sure I can get there, but I think it’ll take some practice!

Hi Cass, here in the UK we are told we can have a normal diet after gall bladder surgery. My husband had his removed and went straight back to his usual diet. Don’t know if surgery in the Canada is different. Thanks for your brilliant channel, I discovered it about 3 months ago and it has motivated me to do the decluttering that I have needed to do for years. I’m a Ladybird (as we would say here in the UK) and my husband is a cricket.

I agree with the comments about being able to eat just about anything you want after gall bladder removal.... but it does take time. Let your body be your guide. I love LOVE the music in the video today and last week, too!!! Can you link to the artists or a playlist?? Thanks so much!! 🎶 ♥️🎵

I had my gallbladder surgery about 10ish years ago, it answered all the stomach issues I had had since my early 20’s. But the weird thing is, I can eat all that stuff. Doesn’t bother me one bit! But of course I too need to loose weight, so I am not eating any of it now. I am on the Optavia 5 and 1!

Hi Candace! I am glad you have recovered so well from your surgery. You are my absolute favorite organizer! I have a question though. What size is your tidy tote and where can I get one for my cleaning routine? Thanks for the inspiration!

Cas, when I had my gall bladder removed, I was still able to eat whatever I wanted. Before was the problem, certain things irritated the gallstone issue.😀

I'm 23 years out from gallbladder surgery and 2 1/2 years out from weight loss surgery. The GB surgery never affected what I could or could not eat. The weight loss surgery is almost the same. I can eat almost anything, but super sugary things bother me about 50% of the time. It's a good thing I have willpower or I would be back to my highest weight. I'm working on some quarantine weight gain now, but it's coming off slowly. I never want to get back to where I was.....I feel so much better now!

I thought this would take all day at my house. I decided to try it anyway and WOW. I have quite a large house and was feeling like nothing was going to work for me, but this does!! It actually took me about an hour, but I can do that. This is absolutely amazing!! Thank you so much for sharing this 😀

it took me a bit over 30 minutes with the kids beds to, but you really can get A LOT done in 30 minutes. It isn't about a deep scrub, just a quick wipe and moving on.

I haven't had gallbladder surgery but I am on an anti inflammatory diet... Baked apples in nothing but their own juices sprinkled with cinnamon, baby. That's my jam. I'd love to hear what other ideas you come up with!

Sounds yummy! I need a lot of protein, so cottage cheese with peaches (sounds so gross, but it's awesome) is my go-to breakfast. Low fat yogurt parfaits too. I'm craving cereal, but too many carbs makes me really sick. I have been snacking on apples with sugar free caramel sauce....omg so good.

I had my gallbladder out a couple years ago in my late 40s. I can eat everything! I took it really easy the first couple months and slowly started just trying little bits of potentially problematic foods but in the end I could eat everything without any problem! Hope the same happens for you! 😁
