I love it when your dad starts talking about record labels and how shady they are. There's a lot of artists that are going independent and I hope more do.. but there's still many artists out there getting sucked in by these labels. Lot of the artists who make a one hit wonder and get signed wind up buried in debt or they don't get much advertisement. I know a lot of artists who have left there labels because the label was picking favorites and not giving them any time. Know of one specifically where they kept telling them "we need an album from you by this date" and they just kept pushing it back and pushing it back. Labels are shady. Love hopsin and great reaction!

Most people don't realize, some artists make cents per record sold or played and because of thatvtiny amount it's not enough compared to the money they fronted the artist.
