I recently got the Zoom MS70 CDR pedal because of your use of the particle reverb. It has knocked off a Strymon Flint is my main reverb! I like how the MS70 gives the option to cycle between presets. I cycle between regular delay reverb and something more ambient for swells.

Enjoyed the show Dave! I have an RC 5 looper and keep it off my board to the left like you do. It has long power and patch cables so if I am sat down the looper can be right by me. I find it so much more easy to time those on and offs with it closer. I have the same Zoom G2.1u and a NUX Plexi Crunch. That Golden Plexi sounds really good though. The Mel 9 is on my radar for sure! Cheers Dave 🍻🎸

Funny thing is: I had a Zoom g2.1nu as my first "Pedal" ever going into a Fender Frontman 25r as my beginning electric guitar rig and now - as a more experienced guitarist with equipment as worth as a car it is funny to see that this Pedal was really great! Maybe I will get a used one for nostalgic reasons.

BTW if you have a dead DL4 there are two possible ways to fix it I know of. 1) take the back off and you see a chip in the middle, lever it out and put it back in 2) hold down the left and right switches simultaneous and power it on, two LEDs should flash and you are back! search for something like "Line 6 DL4 wont switch on" in youtube for more instructions.

Very cool approach to pedals. I, like you, do not want to be too tied down because I improvise a lot. The primary difference is, for most of my stuff I'm going into an ART Extreme pedal (gnarliest distortion like _ever!_ ) and straight into my Line 6 Helix. All the tones and pedals I need (except for the Xtreme) are in the Helix. The Xtreme, though, I just slam the front end of the Helix with it because distortion pedals sound like dog poo through an effects loop lol😱😂🤟

Dave, I have the RC10. It is a piece of cake to add a dedicated stop button. Put a footswitch into the control socket. I use a Boss fs7 giving me two dedicated buttons. Press menu. Turn value knob until you see control. Press the value knob. Turn it until you see CTL1 function. Press it again. Turn it until you see the thing you want the switch to do, ie looper stop. Then exit and you're done. It will stay as you set it until you do a system restore. Repeat with CTL2 if you use a double switch. Give it a go. Contact me if you want me to run through it with you.
