    My milk and acne issue was 100% gal bladder, I swear I could drink milk, and protein drinks and lose weight by 3000 calories a day, I could not have ice cream, and my acne was poster boy acne, At 27 I was told I was lactose tolerant. I stopped all milk, pop, cheese, and chocolate, I gained a healthy 15 pounds and my acne stopped. Years later my gallbladder was removed. All of a sudden I could eat ice cream . if you still have yours, be happy, it needs to be their for bile production

    @KylaBeland The other thing many people don't take into account is, food in places like Italy is 32% less calories than many foods purchased here. The reason is because some foods have been genetically modified to be more calorie dense, even though they are not necessarily nutritionally dense. And, anything you purchase that is industrially processed is going to be more calories, because of the filler. Silica, for example, is wood pulp that is used as filler in a lot of breads and other products here in the US. Your body wasn’t made to digest that. I healed my gut and lost 110lbs just from switching to Low to No Industrially Processed products.

Stop eating dairy ( will eat yogurt, milk, and buttermilk but not ice cream) 3. No processed foods 4. Probiotic( not eating) 5. Fermented foods (Dahi) 6. Fibre: Raw fruits and vegetables 7. @@cynthiahoyi3925 of course!! Soo something major for me was clean and heathy eating, i included more vegetables and fruits into my diet, i started doing workouts that wouldnt stress my body out( high intensity workouts) i started doing pilates yoga Something else is i stopped stressing about what ever i would put into my mouth (like i started eating mindfully without distractions really chewing my food) This may not help every one but i found that 3 meals(like really dense meal that would keep me full) per day helped so much my digestion. Also i would stop eating everytimee i would feel full. I drink water 30 min before or after a meal, this is soooo underated! I cut out all kinds of sugar, artificial sweetners, packaged food, seed oils(only olive oil for heathy fats) processed foods, also i cut out for a short period of time diary and gluten but i recommed to do a test so see if youre intolerant in them before cutting them completely out of your diet! I included healthy fat foods like avocados and salmon, i cut too much salt, meditation helped me soo much 💗 what else i started sleeping more hours like 9 to 10 every day! Keeping my body moving having fun with friends, laughing kept stress out of my body! I thing these are the most change i did!! I hope for to heal your gut and feel good on your body as soon as possible 💗💗💗

    I think for people who love pasta and bread, going for einkorn flour, durum wheat, or just european wheat (which has less gluten in it) is way easier for people to digest and of course sour dough also makes digesting gluten sooo much easier to digest. Breads have a lot of beneficial yeast with very high b vitamins , so for people who really love pasta and bread should maybe try buying breads from bakeries, making homemade and ofc if you live in europe quality pasta and bread is very easy to find :)

    I recently entered into one of the most stressful, saddening, and fear filled seasons of my life about 2 years ago and that’s around the time my gut health started to wreak havoc as well. I figured my form of depression and unbalanced emotional state was the reason for my indigestion and extreme bloating. If only I knew it was only half the story because after working through life issues I still experienced gut problems and wondered hm, why?? So I cut out processed foods, ate more fruits and veggies, implemented home workouts as well as walks and felt A WHOLE LOT better. Even a day of eating a fast food meal and a dessert makes me feel so crummy and bloated. So needless to say, my life has completely changed and now I work on my stress levels, eat well, get my body moving, and learn as many ways as I can to improve my health and this video makes me feel not alone 😅😢 thank you for the helpful tips that I desperately needed to know more about. I appreciate your research as well since I too am a more analytic person who loves to know the why and how of things! You have helped more than you know! Thank you, thank you!

    I appreciate you sharing your gut health journey SO much!!! Since the gut health trend has been floating around, I have noticed how we all are realizing that we may actually have an unhealthy gut. Understanding where our bloating, stomach pain, indigestion, breakouts, and more could be actually coming from! I myself, have now taken notice to my gut since this trend has started. I am 18 and have/still am dealing with extreme monthly bloating that lasts days to weeks even, for roughly a year now! Making me worry about myself in so many ways! I also have been on hormonal birth control as well for about 3 years now and am seeing that my issues could be well-related to the birth control. My gut issues have become a repetitive constant every month and I'm so tired of it. I am the type of person who would rather be holistic with my health first than go to a doctor to be put on more potentially harming meds. Seeing others having problems like me makes me feel understood and related to. I am now on my holistic journey to fixing my gut. This video is EYE-OPENING, so relatable, while truthful and real! I plan to watch your "getting off birth control" videos asap. Learning how birth control can cause mineral/vitamin deficiencies is so crazy and sad! The information you have given me through your channel is amazing. I thank you for being real, relatable, and truthful to your audience. Giving personal and research-based information to try to help us all. Pointing to holistic health that is beneficial in every good way while showing us harmful ingredients to watch out for and not get pulled in by! This all matters so much! Thank you!!! :)

    My dad was told two years ago that he’s allergic to gluten and he’s lactose intolerant to his favorite things and then this last year me personally, I’ve been having so much emotional and physical problems. I go from a size 32 ways to 28 depending on what I eat. I took a step back a few weeks ago after being sick for like the fourth time this year and I stopped consuming gluten, and I stopped consuming lactose and I reduced my sugar intake. My skin cleared up within a week, and my stomach went down to a 27. When I’m sitting in shape, it’s about 26 so I’m pretty happy with the results. I am staying away from that stuff. My body can’t handle it anymore. YOLO, Life will go on.

I have always had a sensitive stomach with ulcers here and there, but I’ve never EVER experienced painful bloating and general poor gut health this badly, I am miserable. I gained about 13 pounds, my hair used to grow super fast and now hardly at all, my skin is dull, my mental health is so poor and I’m so moody and down all of the time… I knew coming off BC would be hard and be a transition, but I’m so tired of this. I am eating a ton of sucralose which I think destroyed my gut biome and caused me horrible skin scarring many times. I was never certain it was this because I eat it almost every day with many products. Almost every sugar-free version of a sweet or whey now contains it. Did you manage to improve your life?

    When you heal your gut your sensitivities MAY go away, its not guaranteed but my chiro told me that its best to get tested, learn how to heal your gut and make the lifestyle changes necessary and 6-12 month's later retest because when the gut lining should be healed, your body should be less sensitive to the foods you were sensitive to in the first test and sometimes some foods can play against each other and react when consumed together or close to each other. So always retest food sensitivities.

  • @KylaBeland

    @KylaBeland

    Жыл бұрын

    Yes! More is coming! Protein is key for building muscle so definitely continue eating good protein sources from meats (if possibly stick to organic meats so it doesn’t have any added hormones etc.) and a clean protein powder that has no artificial ingredients or gums. Also, if possible get a food sensitivity test to check if you are sensitive to certain meats because food sensitivities can cause poor gut health. I got my food sensitivity test from Everlywell (it’s a slightly cheaper test that you can do at home) I definitely plan to film more recipe/what I eat in a day videos to build muscle while maintaining good gut health and hormonal balance so be on the lookout 😊

    I do want to say for everyone that's cutting a lot of things out of their diet like, dairy, gluten, beans etc. to not cut these foods out forever. You might react badly if your gut is in bad shape, but unless you have an actual intolerance or allergy, your body shouldn't be reacting very harsh to these foods. When I had 'temporary IBS' my stomach would cramp so badly, I would often be painfully bloated and I couldn't eat dairy, certain spices or beans either. But after a few months when my gut was alright again, I didn't have any problems anymore with those foods. Doesn't mean to go crazy with the pasta etc. But try a little bit again (cause if you haven't had something for very long your body will always react more). Or check where your products I'm coming from. People have been eating dairy and gluten for a long time, so it's unusual that suddenly so many people react so badly. Sometimes the cause can also be from the ground produce grows from or what the animals eat. I have a light egg allergy. Eggs from the store give me eczema, but fresh eggs from my friend with "regular" chickens that eat good food, don't give me any problems.

  • @ginnyl7208

    @ginnyl7208

    @Idekatp At the time, I got some medication from my doctor. I think it was something like a stomach protector or for acid reflux. I'm not sure. But it was only for the times I would have really painful stomach cramps where I couldn't move anymore. Generally, I was careful with my food. I wrote down when my stomach would hurt or badly bloat and what I had eaten. I cut those out for a while or had less. I ate mostly food that was good for the gut or easier on digestion. Things like fermented food or white rice (instead of brown). Also using natural remedies for painful bloating like peppermint tea. That would often help if I was only in a little pain or uncomfortable. When my stomach was fine again I ate everything again, but was now more mindful of how often or how much I would eat from those foods and incorporated more digestive boosting foods and a simple digestive supplement for some time.

  • @ginnyl7208

    @ginnyl7208

    11 ай бұрын

    @Idekatp and if you find that it's not the food, look at other factors. Even things like stress can have a big effect. And at one point I was getting light diarrhea for a week but no bloating or pain. I figured out that it was probably from the bacteria that had developed in my reusable water bottle. After a few days using a new clean glass cup to drink from everyday I noticed it got better.

  • @ginnyl7208

    @ginnyl7208

    11 ай бұрын

    @Idekatp that diet definitely sounds better, but it could indeed just take your body some time to get used to it. Processed and fast foods tend to be more difficult to digest, while fibre rich fruits, vegetables, and whole grains tend to aid the digestion of food. So this sudden change (while good) could have caused some stress to the body as it's not what you're used to. If you're still experiencing diarhea and stomach pain, maybe lower the amount of fibre you're eating and stick to bland foods for a few days so you won't aggrivate the digestive track. So eat foods that are easy to digest. You can still have fruit and vegetables but search online for what's easiest on digestion. Cooked vegetables are easier to digest than raw ones, and bananas are good. Adding fermented foods is very helpful for your gut bacteria. Probiotics foods like sauerkraut, kefir, kimchi etc. When you're feeling better, i would suggest slowly going to your current diet. You don't want to upset your digestive track again. Eat foods that are good at binding your stool and maybe having more balance in your meal by teying to combine enough protein, carbs, and fat together.. Protein takes more energy to digest and is also slower to digest than carbs. Gentle movement also helps digestion. For the stress, I obviously don't know why you're stressed. But some general tips I've found helpful are doing activities that get you out of your head. Writing down your feelings or worries every day or once in a while. Even just speaking them out loud to yourself can be helpful. You could sing about it, draw, write a poem etc. Just getting it out of your head in the open can often help lower the anxiety or stress you feel in the moment. Being mindful. Why are you stressed, what's causing it. Why is this hard at this moment? Even doing little things your 'inner child' wants to do. For me, that's something like being on a swing. I loved it as a child, but it's not something you're supposed to do as an adult. But I still feel a "longing" to swing whenever I see one. And now I just do it anyway. It makes me feel happy. It's fun and brings out that joy I felt as a child. But this can be different for everyone. It could also be deeper like a longing for intimacy, encouragement etc. Things you might not have gotten in the past but still have a certain need for. So it could be something fun and lighthearted like the swings or having to honour the need for connection and a hug. I feel like often with stress, we make it worse by trying to push things down and not allowing ourselves to feel what we're feeling. You don't always have control over the things that cause stress but you can choose how to deal with it. Cry or scream if you need to. Dance crazily, sing loudly or punch a pillow if it helps. Acknowledge your feelings and thoughts and let it be okay. I know this is an insanely long message, but I hope it can help in some way. :)

    Are you a con artists? People have been eating dairy and gluten for exactly 10 thousand years, length of the agriculture practices. That ain’t long son. And we’ve always been intolerant to milk proteins and gluten because it’s not an our natural food. So false, everything you said is false. If you never eat beans again you will be the better for it. That pile of antinutrient plant toxins should only be consumed when there is an absence of meat and your risking starvation.

    Was great watching your video. I'm on my eczema battle journey and gut health is where I'm at. What I noticed is, the more you look at the ingredients (I do that too), usually, the more expensive the food is and the healthier it is. Not sure if you share the same thought on this. An example is, ezekiel bread (yes i know you don't eat bread anymore), the price difference is huge, but its promoted to be a healthy bread as long as you don't have gluten issues because its got natural ingredients that have gluten in them like barley, rye, etc. I noticed your screen capture that said 2-3 cups of bone broth, seems like a lot, that must be the powder version because the sodium in the liquid one would go off the roof. The gut stressors screen capture is beautiful. That gum one is seen in so many organic soy milks, very few have no gum unfortunately. Couldn't agree with you more on the hungry part, I don't wait till I'm hungry or thirsty, just constantly feeding myself. Did you find that eating healthier food has kept you full longer? I noticed that I'm able to go without food for at least 12hrs aka intermitten fasting. I use to wonder how people do it but now I get it, the key is eating healthy.😊

I do eat clean, I prefer fruits and veg over meats, but love chicken and fish if I can get it. Going to try seed and see how that compares to the pre/pros I already take (cocojune yogurt, foragers cashew milk in my smoothies). Thank you so much for sharing your journey! I LOVE you’ve finally figured out how to stop the boat! 🎉 But a couple things I wanted to add. It’s not gluten that’s the problem, it’s USA food problems like we don’t ferment our breads to remove the enzyme barrier aka acid; US wheat, oat, and so many other crops are carpet sprayed with toxic gut and blood-brain-barrier killer: glyphosate; processed foods have high those artificial sweeteners-and too much any sweetener usually, are high in bad omega 6-seed and other plant oils…super bad and lends to IBS, dementia, and more. People in countries that it’s against the law to use glyphosate, and they make their “gluten” products properly have citizens without the bloating problems Americans have. I could go on!

    i notice a lot of girls tend to have poor gut health for reasons very different to mine. my poor gut health was caused by chronic emotional and physical stress put on my body from malnourishment trying to better my diet and eat more wholesome not processed foods. when you get hungry, you’re supposed to feel the feeling in your stomach or you crave something, for me, i get acid reflux or a tension headache when i’m hungry. last month i was trying to find a bunch of healthy foods and snacks without carcinogens, inflammatory oils or refined sugars and i was struggling big time because in america, all the legitimately healthy snacks are not only over $10, but the portion is literally smaller. i also unintentionally would fast waiting until my big dinner and my body desperately needed food. i don’t suffer from bloating, my muscles get tense when i go too long without eating because for someone with severe emotional and or physical stress, the body perceives hunger as a threat and puts it into fight or flight mode triggering physical stress/anxiety symptoms and for me it’s a tension headache and muscle tension and i can’t get out of this rut because my gut health is not doing well because of my physical stress. i also have no appetite which sucks because my body is starving but i have to force feed myself a huge meal. i hope my symptoms clear up in two weeks since i’ve caught the pattern that my body needs me to eat every three hours. i will definitely try this.

    I explored your channel started from cycle synching videos, I think you're very cute, thanks for sharing!! I agree a lot to highlighted points, as well wanted to share with girlies in comment section what helped me to stop bloat, maybe it will help someone: 1. taking taurine in the morning before breakfast (to make bile more liquid and fluid), for sure before to have consultation with a doc 2. drinking sour warm water 30 minutes prior every meal (like with lemon or with fruit acids capsules - to make the gut digest food better with gastric juice) 3. having supplements plan following recommendations of nutritionist 4. taking more animal protein (for sure if you're vegan, this recommendation wouldn't work for you :( my problem with bloating was because of I didn't consume enough animal proteins and ate mostly potatoes, fruits and salads 5. ALWAYS eggs for breakfast. My perfect breakfast is a plate full of proteins, fats and fibers 6. I had full check with gastroenterologist and gynecologist (there could be health issues needed to be solved, these helped me a lot) 7. My superfoods are broth (boiled for 4+ hours bone tissue, tendons, cartilage - huge source of collagen and amino acids ) and fermented foods (source of probiotics) 8. What immediately worked for me, I stopped drink cappuccino, latte and consume milk. Now I drink only black coffee. Instantly it helped me to clean my face from acne and to make my stomach being flat even at the end of the day 9. Less fruits, they could make worse because of the fructose, big amount of fruits will make your gut suffer 10. Very important, if you taking antibiotics, follow the clean diet!!!! (with no sugars, spicy, fried foods and alcohol), take probiotics and take care of what you eat, because antibiotics will damage your microbiota and you need to recover for at least a month after finishing antibiotics course. And, for sure, girlies, I want to say that those recommendations I got from doctors and nutritionist, it doesn't mean I wrote rules for everyone, but maybe you'll see any patterns with your lifestyle and will intend to implement them or to find right direction

    People of African and Asian descent lack the enzymes to properly break down dairy and it’s almost always guaranteed that these groups will have problems with dairy milk . And almost all women will have issues with whey - it is very common .

    Do you think taking enzymes' supplements will help with breaking down the protein.

    I was having smoothies for 4 months and lost my baby weight what I was happy about . Suddenly started to have stomach cramps , bloating and now I had inflammation in my stomach . I’ve read that certain berries, fruit and greens combinations can become “toxic”. My mum is still drinking it and she is fine but apparently not everyone’s stomach can take it 😮. Now I’m afraid to have it because maybe that was causing my health issues
