Hi Anthony. Thanks for the update of your workflow for the editing of landscape photos. Very helpful. Yes I would very much like to see your workflows for other genres, like travel, street, documentary or portrait, if possible. They can really help to work more efficient and effective. Thanks again.

As usual, nicely done and clearly explained. My workflow is very similar, and so is my morning routine. I live about a mile from the beach in Western Australia and walk along the coast with my dog, catching the sunrise and cloudscape out to sea before hitting my preferred cafe for my morning brew. Thanks Anthony.

Anthony, another informative video. I have pretty much the same workflow, although I always click on profile and chromatic aberation corrections first (you may do this on import) and also try the auto transform button to see if any misalignment that wasn't obvious is corrected. As for sharpening, my understanding is that when you use it with a mask, it applies the settings in the Detail panel, so if you zero those out, not sure what happens, or maybe that's why you need to double the amount. I leave the Detail panel at the default setting, which applies just a little bit of sharpness, and then the mask sharpening applies more of that to the masked area. However, if I use Detail to sharpen, the masking slider in the Detail panel removes the sharpening from skies, water and other areas where you don't want it, so I don't see much risk of oversharpening those areas using the Detail panel.

Love the video. I was just down there taking the same image a few weeks ago! For someone just getting into this hobby, I love your workflow. Many times I'm just moving sliders at random and pray I see something I like. You have a very concise workflow that makes sense. Keep them coming.

I took an image that I edited yesterday and re-edited following your workflow step by step. It was a portrait not a landscape, and to my surprise the results came out very similar to my original edit. However, your systematic approach did seem quicker and a little more confidence inspiring, especially for the tone adjustments. One BIG difference, that I will use from now on, is reserving Effects and Detail for masks, not global adjustments. That made a rather noticeable improvement for the portrait. Thanks!

I notice you didn't apply lens correction before making changes, is this because you assumed this was an automatic adjustment or because you didn't need to?

Always good to see one of your videos. I have seen one comment where if you apply a small amount of global sharpening, this really shows up in a mask sharpening. Not tested myself, yet.

Nice 🙏🏻 I also used Adobe color profile with my Nikon D850. But I find the neutral profile better with Sony a7rV. It gives more dynamic range and better highlight control. And when I revisit older photos, I find the neutral profile better again. Regards Lars, Denmark, Scandinavia. 😊

Apparently you still have not learned the difference between 'LIGHTROOM" and "LIGHTROOM CLASSIC" ❗👎🏼 "My Current Editing Workflow in Lightroom" is the title of this video. That title is either wrong by design (clickbait), of wrong by ignorance and/or arrogance / stubbornness!

Those of us that have used the program for almost 20 years have little need to amend our nomenclature even though Adobe has. Live with it.

Apparently you don't use Classic. However, if you watch you will learn that Anthony's workflow applies just as well in non-Classic Lightroom. Keyboard shortcuts might be different, but everything else applies. Who's being stubborn?
