I was in metalsmithing classes for a year when I was in community college (turns out I suck at metalsmithing but it was really fun!) and I tried to make a metal crown once but the seems I had just done would come apart whenever I tried to make a new seem 😭 I think rivets would have worked better but maybe it’s a good thing I gave up on it after hearing your metal crown horror story lol!

My favorite part of the Lolita community is the sick puppetry.

Oddly enough I love the air freshener crown the most. I feel like it would look great with a headband that has silk roses on one side.

For the pink crown you should take it off the headband and use it for room decoration instead!!

I LOVE larger crowns, I actually bought a silver one for my sister's ouji coord, it seems to fit that look really well!

pancake is my favorite headpiece out of this!!!! it's INCREDIBLE it's lasted so many years!!! xD i love it so much!!! tbh for my headpieces, I have a few headbows that can slide onto a headband and off of it--one from a TaoBao reseller, a couple from handmade pieces I've purchased on lacemarket, and one that goes with a Bodyline set, that I usually wear, and then lots and lots and lots of cheap bow/star/etc. clips from various places I've collected over the years. lots of Walmart holiday kids' clips sales xD and a few oldies from Hot Topic. i'd really like to get into finding cute matching headpieces for my dresses, though! i find that when I'm stumped, I often default to the white frilly headbow I got off the TaoBao resale site xD usually with a couple of clips that match the theme/colors of the coord I'm wearing. i'd like to get into making my own honestly! also thank you for quality top tier advertisement content as well, Lor. XD Southern Pumpkin Pal is a good friend.

I love the pancakes and the donut... I’m not a big crown or tiara fan. I have a hat problem, when I finish my move to Florida I hope to be able to put them up for display as my hats are more art than clothing in some ways. I love 👒. I bought the witch hat that you got for Holly, I think and I got a few more from a company that I love that’s unfortunate to not be keeping their handmade stuff after this year. I’m waiting for shipping notice but they will look great with my collection and the cords I have planned.

I personally invested in skirts for casual daily wear! And One piece dresses (OP) You can style skirts with blouses or cutsews for hotter days. And OP's are handy when you dont want to make a complex outfit just throw on a lacey dress and some nice socks & shoes! You can always opt out of a big head piece and just do your hair with some accents, like ribbons in braids or small bows! Rectangle head pieces are the most comfortable option for me. (:

My suggestion would be to find pieces that you think you could wear multiple times and something in your style (which is something I'd figure out first actually!). If you think those are based on solid colors, floral prints, sweet prints, etc (and built a color palate to focus on building an outfit on), then also look into petticoats that are nice but are not floof monsters. While I'm still learning, i don't see why you could not get really cute graphic t-shirts or blouses and pair that with a lolita skirt. And while not lolita (although it is considered a 'sister or cousin' to casual lolita, take a look into 'otome kei' (and also 'himekaji')! See how those styles appeals to you. (Sorry if this advice is all over the place. Let me know if you want me to clarify anything! Stay safe and happy journeys into cute alt fashion!)

There's so many headpieces I want from BeholderFashions. I love the pancake piece. Speaking of making unexpected things into head accessories, I've had a pair of bath sandals/sliders with a flat, chunky, silicone strawberry cutout on each strap. Recently, a strap separated from the sole, and I think they'd just break again quickly if I glued it together, so instead I'm planning to cut the strawberries from the straps and glue alligator clips/pin backs, so I can use them as hair accessories or brooches. I think I'll get a lot of use out of them that way, so hopefully it goes well 👍

I love crowns! Great video :D If I had more money would start up a bigger collection of them just to have and display. My oddest not meant to be worn crown I have is a nearly full size, I think made out of clay, gold painted one a friend got me from Hobby Lobby when they had Mardi Gras stuff. It looks really cool on, but man is it heavy, required problem solving on how to get it to stay on, and did I mention heavy lol

if youre more more craftsy and you want that metal crown, try making it out of worbla!!

Have you considered making a mold of the metal cake-topper and then making a new one out of lighter material like acrylic? Because the shape is really nice and if you made some to sell I would definitely buy one.

Unless a wedding and a strict clothing restriction then she could still wear lolita! I'm not talking OTT lolita because I mean repsect for the bride/groom/broom/brides- you get the idea 😂 but she could wear something more like casual lolita!

​@@heatherchandler1585 It's possible to pass off many classic lolita JSKs as elegant evening dresses and wear them to weddings, but unless the bride knows you well and approves of you wearing a themed coord to the wedding, I'd advise against it.

Do you noticed that you breathe with issues. I have longcovid 4 months now and i have similar breathing. My astma medicine is working so i dont have too low breathing.
