Was this in the UK or in Ug? It was hard to to tell. Oh how I love hearing so much Luganda. Here in NYC, there are not so many Ugandans. In school, I'm pretty sure I'm the only one. You guys are so lucky to have a community!

My man is a recent convert to Islam. I have a catholic background along with a southern Baptist background. They clearly conflict 🤦🏾♀️. But from his teachings and videos he's shared with me I agree with what I've seen and heard. But my question is will I need to wear a hijab? Or can I still be a part of the Islamic faith without wearing the hijab? I love my man so far and wish to continue to be with him but what can I expect?.....Seriously asking...

It’s a spiritual journey that will always be between you and God no one can force upon you. I think you should first find out the reasonings and meaning behind the hijab and what it’d me to you and your partner. Religion is a journey that doesn’t happen overnight as well as wearing a hijab especially in today’s society doesn’t mean automatically you’re Muslim or that it’s good. We are all judged on our actions and what’s inside of us. There are many that wear hijab but don’t practice which would make it invalid so definitely do what’s best for you. I really hope I helped😭😭😭
