It’s been so long since covid lockdown that someone was either invited or came over for lunch, dinner or snacks. My brother (my cousin) used to come almost every weekend and its been almost 6 months now. Since the cases here has come down, he came over keeping in all the norms.
And I missed posting party vlogs.
Finally back with some amazing dishes that you could try.
Prawns Pothi biriyani, a flavoursome dish infused with the aroma of banana leaf and prawns will definitely will give you a guarantee of the best taste. You can prepare the same with chicken, meat and even veg.
Whole chicken is usually roasted in Oven. This time tried on stove top cooked in a thick bottom stainless steel pan.
Royal Falooda, an all time fav dessert. I can have it before or after a meal. I have included home made ice cream that more creamy and with a bit of crunch from the tutti fruity & desiccated coconut.

PRAWNS POTHI BIRIYANI :
Prawns - 1.25 - 1.5 kg
Marination :
Kashmiri red chilly powder - 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 - 3/4 tsp
Coriander powder - 1/2 tbsp
Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Coconut oil - 4 tbsp
Salt
Onion - 4 for frying + 1for sautéing
Tomato - 3 large
Ginger - a small piece
Garlic - 1 whole bulb
Green chillies - 5 - 6
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
Coriander leaves - a handful chopped
Ghee - 5 - 6 tbsp
Salt
Rice :
Basmati/Jeerakashala rice - 4 cups
Ghee - 4 tbsp
Onion - 1 sliced
Garam masala powder - 1 tbsp
Coriander leaves - a handful chopped
Mint leaves - few chopped
Curry leaves - few
Cashews and raisins fried - for garnish
Cover & lock pressure, cook on medium- high flame till first whistle.Then reduce the flame to very low and cook for 5 minutes. Whistle may or may not come in this 5 minutes. But it doesn’t matter.

ROASTED WHOLE CHICKEN :( quantity for 1 chicken )
Chicken - 1 whole
Curd - 3/4 cup
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Kashmiri red chilly powder - 1 tbsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves - a handful chopped
Mint leaves - few chopped
Oil- 2 tbsp
Salt
Lemon juice - 3 tbsp

HOME MADE ICE CREAM :
Whipping cream - 1 cup
Whipping powder - 2 sachets
Condensed milk - 1/2 cup
Tutti frutti -1 cup
Desiccated coconut - 1/2 cup

ROYAL FALOODA
Cashew rose milk :
Milk - 5 cups
Condensed milk - 1 cup
Cashew powder- 1/2 cup
Rose syrup ( Ruh Hafza ) - 2 tbsp
Sev:
Corn flour - 1/2 cup
Water - 1.5 cup
Sugar - 2 tsp
Mixed Fruits - 1 cup
Mixed nuts - 1 cup
Home made ice cream - a scoop for 1 glass
Basil seeds - 2 - 3 tbsp soaked in water
Jelly - made with jelly ready mix

Its okay, but make sure u dont keep the dish in the iron pan for long time, i take out from the kadai as soon as i finish cooking ☺️☺️
Shamshee! My dear! My mouth was watering when u served the prawns rice (podhichoru)😋😋😋😋😋yummy yum!😀😀😀😀👍! But it was a big job isn't it? That chicken was so good! One small suggestion for the chicken! Finally u cud have put in the oven for slight roasting. It would have been nice na? Icecream falooda was mmmmmm! Oh! I wish I was the guest on that day😂😂😂😂😂😂😂! Nice vlog! Enjoyed watching.
