不明為什麼有人會吐糟何泓珊的演技，這劇她演出我覺得還可以呀！她看侯爺的時候真的好有愛人的眼神… 有人說SEVEN不夠漂亮，我覺得這兩個選角都很好，喬蓮房雖有美貌，但侯爺就是看不上眼，十一雖不是美若天仙，但就卻入了侯爺的眼裡和心中......

For English viewer, Peonies is a Queen of flower. Usually such flower entitle for main wife. Some household have equal wives, eg 3 wife and all equal, but when husband gifted Peonies to one of the wife, that wife is the main wife ( indirectly tell everyone she is the main wife ) .. so that’s why a huge hoo haa over that clothes also

Thank and bless you for explaining the significance of the Peonies. She may be the favorite of the Great Madam but the Husband she is not. It's not like she wasn't warned before coming into the marriage. But I really enjoyed the look on her face.😊

其實喬姨娘真的不要鋒芒太漏，侯爺應該也是會對他有點憐愛，她也是有苦勞，可惜她旁邊的人也都笨蛋，她才會整個失勢。

侯爺處理正室妾室都好有威儀。

侯爷教训乔连房。侯爷以五毒心形容乔连房一点都不错。不然，她不会坚持也要嫁给侯爷就是做妾也肯。

Exactly! Everytime her or the mother bring up she was forced to be a concubine, I am like, she chose to be one.

Loved the show. My favorite drama. Hated how everybody always blames Shiyi for everything bad that happens, escepially when Shiyi had nothing to do with the situation. Like this clip. The mother knew the concubine liked peonies that is why she got the best brocade, not Shiyi. Love how Shiyi defends herself with logic that the Marquis understands her reasoning. Like how the Marquis likes plain and simple things, not the expensive stuff, which is a waste of money.

How can she be a legal wife if at first the parent let her be a concubine because if her actions now she thinks if shiyi is gone she will become a wife what a mindset even without shiyi she is already a concubine she thinks other wise and theaid is brainwashing her

It is hilarious so many wives want his attentions of great loves

Lianfang had definitely deserved what Marquis had done to her as her consquences. Grand Madame is only one who favors evil viper Lianfang like blind prejudice favoritism fool who is unable to acknowledge that Marquis has eyes and heart turning towards Shiyi. Marquis should had shutdown Grand Madame's disrespect towards his lawful legal wife Shiyi in this incident since it is dishonor and disrespectful towards himself and House of Xu too. It might have stopped so many future issues later on with Grand Madame doing right things in household instead of leading towards these many issues by her own horrific examples towards Shiyi for those evil scheming vipers of women in House of Xu.

I think because in scenes with dialogues, with soup you can easily and quickly swallow and continue with the conversation. You can’t do the same as easily with solid food since you have to quickly chew and swallow them. Also, if I’m not mistaken, the Chinese believe soup nourishes the body and beauty so soup is generally a staple menu in their meals
