Hoya vietnam is really cool. I think it is my favourite of the ones showed us. 😊 Sometimes I see Ellipticas on ebay but they are often relatively expensive, so right now I'll just stare at them on instagram. Same with other hoyas on my wishlist, like finlaysonii or sarawak. Everything plant-related is becoming so expensive over the last year. It's getting close to winter too, so I really shouldn't buy tropical plants because shipping in cold weather is not ideal.

I love them all. I just aquired a cutting of what I think is the common Hoya Elliptica. Would love to get more but I'm dreading the shipping. The cutting I got I paid express shipping for it. I'd love to get the other varieties too.

It’s a tough choice, but I’d have to say the narrow leafed form 😍 This is one of those hoya that I *really so, so, so* badly want, but yeah, as you said, are very risky for the buyer 😭 It’s also known as the turtle/tortoise leafed hoya; so I wanted to get one because of Potato, my red foot tortoise 😆🐢

Just got the hoya elyptica pointy leaves and already lost 1 leaf and now I see 2 more not going to make it. What do I do? Any tips please 🙏 😪😪

@@sherryporsch9349 how do you care for it? you let the soil dry out completely before watering? is it easy to care?

does the round leaf elliptica get sun stressed? or it turns yellow when exposed to strong light?
