My Coming Out Story -
As today is #NationalComingOutDay , I thought for once I would tell you about how I came out as #gay to my parents back when I was a teenager, as I get asked about it a fair bit on #TikTok and thought people might like to know the real story.
I know how lucky I am that it went well for me, but I know that it isn't always the case.
If you are #LGBT + or friends with someone who is, I hope my story might be interesting for you to hear. Support your #friends and #family, and whether they are able to #comeout or not, be there for them, as you would want them to be there for you, with support and love, no matter what it is they need to share, whether it's coming out or not.

I’ve not told most of my family. My brother, sister, mum, dad, knows. But there’s others in my family who don’t know and I’ve not told them because I’m worried about what they would say.
i didn’t know how because my mums a christian

I never came out because my mum asked me if I was gay and I said ye and she had no suspicions
