Thank you for watching my coming out story. I know this video has taken A LOT longer than expected. Maybe I was putting it off just a tad, but I am so happy to be sharing this piece of my story with you all now.
My decision to come out and it's timing reflect a period when I was ready to accept myself and share that person with the world. Sometimes realizing your own personal happiness is the only happiness you truly have control over can be the push you need to make a change. Hiding such a large part of myself was not bringing me joy. It was holding me back.
I do recognize how fortunate I am to have such a great support network of friends and family, and I know that is not the case for everyone.
I hope that by sharing my story I add one more voice to the coming out experience, with the hope that one day, everyone can live as they truly are, no matter their sexual orientation, sexuality, or gender.
I promise it does and will get better.
Love,
Brock

""I don't know if it was because of my voice..." that broke my heart. We all say that - and our voices - which always seem to bother us... are the voices of strong strong men. Love your story and this video. Great job Brock.
Brock, from a psychological perspective, your feeling isolated makes perfect sense, The fault is not within you, but in the society we live in. That is the challenge that we all need to face and change. You are so loved by so many, which NOW you know......Thanks, man...Ray
Nothing but love for both of you!!!!!

Right back at you, Ridge 💖💖
Let me tell you that you deeply touched my 82 year old heart. We all go through some shit when coming out. I feel bad that all these years after I came out it was so hard on you and Chris too for that matter , we hear about how much things have changed, but not so much really. It's because of the crap society shoves in our face and our hearts. I love you guys already ! By the way I knew I was different when I was 4 ,and have memories from that age, realizing by the time I was 10 what those feelings really meant.
brock, holy crap!!! i love you so much. thank you for sharing your narrative. i'm so glad you have chris, you're so lucky.
ALL THE LOVE TO YOUUUUU!!!❤️
thank you guys for sharing such personal stories

You are amazing! I’m sure that was hard to share and I totally get the struggle of loving yourself it’s a journey. Thanks for sharing! Much love for both of you💕
Thank you for sharing your story with us. As with Chris, You’re a bright light. Keep being you!
Thank you SO much for telling your story, Brock. I can definitely relate to it, and I'm sure a lot of other people can too. Being brave isn't about not being afraid; it's about being afraid and doing what you're afraid of, anyway. Love, Ron
Thank you so much for sharing a big chunk of your life with us! I love you, Brock! You are very brave! I’m proud of you! 💕💕💕
Best coming out story, your hesitation with your words come off so genuine and honest and you’re very brave for sharing. You’re a beautiful spirit boo boo! Best wishes xo ❤️
thank you, your story is inspiring. I totally relate with alienating from everyone and losing a lot of amazing people.. unfortunately my parents didn't take it very well.

You did well, Brock! Thank you! I know that was hard for you. I never did tell my parents when they were alive. But I've told my sisters, and my brother (indirectly), and they've had nothing but love for me. Love and respect for both of you! 🌈
You deserve from us , this words ,, ,,,,,,, ( THANK YOU ) for being honest , a lot of us still in the closet, it’s hard to be out in here , but it’s kind a relieving finding someone feeling good being out , thanks again
Brock, thank you so much for your coming out story. It is as genuine as any that I've heard, probably because there is so much emotion in it. God bless both of you.
Conquering your fears take you to great places, and you did a superb job at conquering the fear of talking about something so difficult. You didn't ramble. Your ideas flowed smoothly. Great job. I developed a whole new respect for you as a man as I listened to your story. 👍
Good job and thanks for sharing. All the best to you.

Love you more, mom #2!
Just like Chris' video, I managed to overlook your story which is weird because I thought I'd seen all your posts. Your pain and uncertainty about being honest with yourself and others is so familiar and regrettable. Thankfully, Chris did enter your life. You are both extraordinary!
Brock you are a very strong person and you did a great job with your story.
It is not easy for some people to share emotions and feelings so you should be proud of yourself for doing that. I'm grateful for your story and wish it were easier for people to accept who they are and for people to accept their loved ones if they're a little different. I hope that you're at a place where you're totally comfortable with who you are, and if not, I hope it comes soon. You have a wonderful fiance to help you get there. You guys seem like the absolutely perfect couple. Like soulmate type couple. I love it and I love you guys. Sharing stories inspires and uplifts others going through hard times so please continue to do so!
So proud of you.
Am a huge fan of BnC, you guys have been through so much and am happy you found each other. You deserve all the love there is. God bless your sweet hearts

Thank you for sharing, Brock x
Never apologize for who you are to anyone ever!
hugsies! i relate more to u, b, than c, when it comes to growing up and being called names even before i knew i was different - but i embrace that now, too =] and yeah secret relationships suck. also, rambling is good teehee. thankyou! xoxoxo ❤💜💙💚💛
NO! THANK YOU FOR SHARING, AND YES YOU ARE LOVED!!! MUCH LOVE*
Thank you. I think I know how hard that was for you. I’m sorry that people hurt you. They hurt me too.
Thank you for sharing! 💖
Thank you for sharing, Brock! I can assure you that this definitely was a CO story. The best part of it, I think, is you teaming up with yourself and then coming out. As GENESIS put that into words in their song carpet crawlers “you’ve got to get in to get out”. Thanks again and best wishes Martin

Jesus, I skipped that important word “in”. So Correctly the words are: you’ve got to get IN to get out.
Just heartbreaking yet so wonderful you story Brock, thank you for sharing this intimate part of you, it's so sweet that sometimes you felt naked when it comes to talk about emotions and that you refer to Chris as you safe blanket it is just beautiful, there's just pure love about each other, thanks and sending to both of you hugs and kisses 😘😘😘💖💖💖💖🙌🙌🙌

Well done Brock, well done. You did great. Now go hug Chris. Your a great couple. Sending you all the best wishes and wonderful future. John Chicago
I know it is hard, but never regret the hard times you had coming out, or the self doubt or the confusion. It's what you needed to go through in order to get to where you are now. It was your journey to self discovery and every bit of it, every step of it was what was needed to make that journey. Our growth and evolution is a step by step process and looking back and thinking that it was wrong or unfortunate is not true or helpful. It takes time to find out what you don't want in order to figure out what you do want.
Much love, honey!
Thanks for making this
Pure love to you, sweetheart. You’re perfect as you are.
You are a beautiful human being... Much love for you :-)))
Love you guys
thanks for sharing, it reaches me and helps me out.
Brock your such an awesome guy omg I just want to hug you ! I totally understand I am gay and been called all them hateful names too! I am out only to family and a few friends. It’s a real struggle should NOT be that way but it is for me! I so appreciate your video here I know it will help other boys and guys to come out..things happen for a reason God chose us to be gay for some reason we won’t know why until we meet him! Your soon to be husband is so lucky to have you👍👍❤️
Love you both ❤️❤️❤️
Stay strong!
Brock, you're incredible. We sometimes assuming what people will say about us it's just like a defense mechanism. And I don't know how to deal with that especially when you grow up in a very conservative country. I'm still trying to figure it out.xoxo
Good for you dear ! We love you the way you are 😘😘😘👍❤️❤️🇨🇦🇨🇦

Tell your full story Brock and it should help you out and the rest of us who has seen your video and i want to know you as a person so can you make another video of your self and and by emotions I want you to know that I want to know you as a person Brock I want you to make a full out video about of how you really came out of the closet
Since a lot of people are Sharing I thought I would chime in. This is how I came out on social. *Please don’t cry* Everyone simply wants to love, be loved, and be their 100% true authentic self. I never realized until resent that for so long I’ve locked myself up in the tower and when I left I still had on a mask and a weight attached to my leg. Any feelings I every had I banished them to the dungeon. Today I tear down the doors, take 5 giant steps forward, rip off the mask and burn it. I AM GAY!!! I am a kind person who when I say I love something, I love with all my heart and soul. I want with all my heart and soul to fall madly in love, someday get married, have a dog or 2, and maybe some kids. From here on out I will be my 100% true authentic self and NOTHING LESS!!! Now I can take the weight of the house, the 7 semi trucks, and the world off my chest. I think everyone should “come out” when they finally figure out who they are. Even straight cisgender(some who identifies with the gender they were given at birth) people. There is nothing more freeing then simply being your 100% true authentic self. Also, I would like to thank the movie Love, Simon, the spin-off series on Hulu, Love, Victor and some KZread channels for teaching me to just let go and simply be my 100% true authentic self. Also like buddha said “ Be yourself today. You look absolutely beautiful like that”
💝💝💝💝💝💝 You my hero
I had a similar experience in college Brock......It was never about them....

We live with how our years in earlier school affected us. Sometimes college gives some freedom. In my case, I was doing what everyone wanted me to do, because I was engaged to a women and got married. It was the pregnancy of my child that took me over the edge. I had to come out, then.
