Thanks! I am glad I ended up going with colour change ones too, I end up in a lot of meetings so I can just twist in my chair and admire them :D And gosh they do! I'm not actually sure what I'll do when Erina makes it here, Kirigiri and Chiaki may move to another spot at that point.

The Aqua shrine is perfect! A goddess deserves to be worshiped. Prior to watching Konosuba, I was relatively certain anime would never actually make me laugh and I assumed it was just a cultural and language barrier that I'd never be able to break through. Then I laughed at something in every episode of Konosuba. My nephews are 10 and 13 and they also enjoy board games that they play with their parents. Do you think NY Zoo and King Domino are easy enough for a ten year old who'd rather be in art class than learning math?

Thanks so much! It is as she deserves 😊 now I just hope the “oiran” version one can fit in there too 😅 and gosh Konosuba is hilarious! Only Kaguya-sama has made me laugh as much honestly. Yes both have really simple rules! New York Zoo is listed as 10+ and King Domino is 8+ so they should be fine 😊

I love your collection! I definitely feel ya in terms of space and using it properly. I'm trying not to impulse buy too. I think once I fill up my current detolfs and evaluate the figures I do have and how they fit together, I'll be satisfied.

Thank you! 😊 Yeah it’s really hard when new figures keep coming that are absolute bangers 😭 I’m really hoping to be able to slow to just a few a year or at least every few months in the future until I can get more space 🙏

I noticed the 2 study desks are facing the wall and away from the display figures. I have my study desk facing my figures so I can enjoy the look of them. Yes, it can be distracting, but they help to relief the stress during a hectic day of working at home and reminds me me of my goals in life - to work hard so that I can earn money to buy the things I want in life..

My boyfriend actually doesn’t like them, so he doesn’t. Most of my work time is spent in meetings so I actually twist on my chair and look towards them while listening. There also just isn’t space to do any other kind of set up 😅 the room is only 3.5m x 2m long ish as is…

I love seeing people's collections! You've really made the most of the space you have (wish I could say the same for my collection xD ) I hadn't seen anyone put detolfs on top of shelves like that, I wasn't sure if it'd be sturdy enough but I think I'll look into doing something similar myself :D

I’ve done my best for sure! I have used a bench for mine so it is designed for people to sit on, www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/ravaror-bench-on-castors-oak-veneer-50457308/ in case it helps! It’s weight tested for 120kg which is more than the besta or kallax some other people use. Hope you can make it work! ❤️

It does! Though I am sad to say I ended up selling Exu and Eyja this week after realising I was barely playing Arknights 🥲 they really worked well together though with the four of them!

I just stumbled across this video, but wow, you have great taste! Or at least, tastes very similar to mine 😁 In that old picture you showed with the black desk, I have all of those Nendoroids except Exusiai (though I have other Arknights Nendoroids), plus the Nendoroids for Aqua and the RWBY characters that you had scales for. I even have a very similar Stitch figure! I also have that same Aqua keychain -- so cute! I've got a few in that 'pinched' style/series, but Aqua's is definitely my fav. I'm super jealous of all of the great Arknights stuff you have 😍 That wall scroll looks amazing! I was also surprised to see a board game collection mixed in here. Once again, great taste! I own a ton of board games lol. Definitely a rabbit-hole, but a fun one. To throw out some game suggestions: Hanamikoji, Fantastic Factories, Bullet❤️ (should restock soon), Sakura Arms (if you're open to playing a card game. It's not a tcg or anything, and the art's gorgeous). I'd be happy to elaborate if you're interested. I definitely feel your space concerns haha. I just moved into a new place, and I've got a lot more room than my old place...but that's not saying a lot, and between figures and board games and instruments, there's a lot fighting for my (thankfully somewhat big, though never big enough) office space.

Ah thank you for stopping by in that case! 😊 It’s always nice to meet more people with similar interests! It’s kind of funny as out of the Arknights stuff I have in this video I only have the Blaze and W scales now, I still have the nendoroids but I may be selling some of them soon too. The wallscroll is staying though! That was an anniversary shop exclusive and Nian and Dusk are forever my favourites ❤️ I actually ran a poll to see if people were interested in the board games and a couple of people were. Glad to you enjoyed it and I’ll look those up! Thanks for the suggestions 🥰 Sadly there’s only one way for me to deal with space, I either stop buying new figures or sell the old ones, so a few you mentioned further up in your comments (the Rwby pop up parades, possibly some of the nendos) have been sold already. I got into the gacha Azur Lane and wanted space for some of their figures 😅 Thanks so much for watching and commenting! ☺️

An impeccable collection 👍 I feel like you are at least sensible and disciplined with where you are going, spending wise - not like me (looking at my 31 orders for this year 🥲). This was such a lovely video! I loved seeing how your collection had changed and developed. You have a really stunning collection, all such beautiful figures 😍 and I definitely understand the changing of tastes and changing how or what you collect and not wanting certain figures anymore 😅 I definitely think your boyfriend should allow the extra display cabinet and also move his stuff in that corner so you can add something there too! 🥺 I mean it makes you happy and it makes the room look beautiful so I feel like he should make a little exception 🤣 (me trying to give a convincing argument)

Ah thanks so much! 🥺 Honestly I’m in the process of trying to put together photos and info for a good chunk of these now as well. I’m easing out of the hobby and have cut down preorders a lot as currently all my shelves were pretty much full and to a point they were overcrowded - it doesn’t look great. I hope the selling goes well though! 🤗

It's become such an expensive hobby and it's so hard and sometimes stressful to keep up with all the figure releases 😣 I've only recently picked the hobby back up again, but I'm more chill this time around and have cut down on preorders as well. Trying to only get figures of characters I absolutely love and adore. I'm also limiting the amount of character figs I buy to 1. @@princesstutusweet it really has! I need to save for a house deposit and pay off a car loan so I really can’t put as much into it anymore 😔 but that’s good you’ve been much more chill! I made a lot of dumb impulse buys at the start that I’m trying to sort out so hopefully by the end of the year when I do another of these videos it’ll be closer to my final picks of figures! ❤️ but I mostly have one per character, Ryza keeps getting so many good ones though she’ll end up with a few 😂 and of course 🥰 as is always the way with selling it seems!

I gosh, I feel you! My boyfriend is the same, for him it is less is more and well I'm the opposite... so he is really displeased with my hobby XD Lovely setup, especially love your Aqua and Arknights shrines. Your desk looks also really nice, I'm horrible at keeping my desk clutter free XDD You could easily fit another detolf on the left side where the old computer is. I hope you can convince him at some point, I mean you already preordered the stuff and another detolf would help to declutter stuff more :D Nice game selection, if you would like I could recommend you the games: Mountain of madness and Lost ruins of arnak, the last one you can even play with two. I have both games and they are really fun but also a little more complex and definitely more fun the more you play them.

You definitely understand then! 😂 I’m doing my best to find loopholes (my desk with the shelf was one of them) but it is hard. And agreed! I’m really hoping I can at some point, this is pretty hard to make things fit 😅 I’ll look into them both thank you! My bf loves more complicated ones with more strategy so he may have heard of them too 😊

I don’t blame you, I was especially lucky with that one and got it as C grade from amiami preowned as the base was broken apart, made it cheaper and it was an easy fix. And honestly no 😅 I’m pretty sure I just googled Kaguya-sama wallpaper and took a while hunting around.

The black desk was actually broken and wobbled every time I tried to use it. Also the rest of our furniture is white/wood so 🤷‍♀️

Ah thanks! And haha I did used to collect manga years ago, I lived abroad for 5 years though so a lot of my collection was sold or given to charity so I’m back to square one 😅 i try and usr digital to save space where i can too. Animegami is one of the most expensive ones - try gamersheek and dekai anime for UK stores! I’ve used both and things arrived fine. Amiami is honestly my most common to shop at though, so long as the item is under £135 we don’t get hit with extra fees at the moment and EMS just came back so that makes shipping easier. Do you have a myfigurecollection.net account as there’s a UK collectors club on there that may help?

They are wiregrips! If you search for detolf wiregrips or similar you should be able to find something that matches in your country. Mine were from a specific uk ebay store but stores worldwide tend to have them. Hope that helps!

To be honest it’s only ever written in Chinese and I can’t spell it well myself - it was a collab between myethos and bilibili and only available on Chinese stores such as taobao. It’s in my previous videos kzread.info/dash/bejne/oJWBmdWng6ynp6w.html where I link things in the description which may help you find her? I bought her on taobao using Superbuy.

How did u manage to get four pieces of glassses in a single detolf? I thought it only came with three pieces 0.0.

Two are acrylic shelves I bought off eBay, they actually can’t take much weight but ok for lighter figures. I used wire grips that can also be bought off eBay/amazon to hold them in place. Hope that helps! I lot of people use them to change the heights to fix bunny figures in too.

It was already quite expensive when I managed to find her for 32k yen honestly, it’s a shame Aquamarine went bust as I’m pretty sure that’s why the price skyrocketed even more :(
